Tennessee Titans vs. Pittsburgh Steelers Week 9 Predictions

For our first prop in the Thursday Night Football matchup between the Titans and the Steelers, we're going to target Tennessee running back Derrick Henry's rushing yards prop. Given Pittsburgh's weakness in its run defense, we are expecting Henry to have a productive stat line.

We like Derrick Henry Over 75.5 Rushing Yards (-110) at BetMGM. Henry has gained at least 97 yards in three of his last four games, including 122 yards against the Bengals, 97 yards rushing versus the Ravens and 101 yards in last week's win over the Falcons.

Henry will now face a Steelers defense that ranks 27th in yards allowed per carry (4.5) and 27th in rushing yards allowed per game (137.1). We also saw Henry featured plenty with Tennessee going with rookie quarterback Will Levis against the Falcons. Henry's 22 carries last week were tied for the second-most he's had this season, and we expect a similar workload as Levis continues to start fo the injured Ryan Tannehill.

Tennessee Titans vs. Pittsburgh Steelers Week 9 Predictions

We will also target a rushing prop on Pittsburgh's side regarding running back Najee Harris. Pittsburgh quarterback Kenny Pickett announced he plans to play Thursday, which should prevent the Titans from completely stacking the box to limit Harris.

We're going with Najee Harris Over 44.5 Rushing Yards (-114) at FanDuel. Pittsburgh has had an inconsistent ground game this season, but this could be a get-right spot for Harris against a vulnerable Titans defense.

Tennessee ranks 16th in rushing yards allowed per game at 107.4 and there have been some improvements in the rushing game for Pittsburgh. Harris has run for at least 50 yards in three of his last five games. When Harris has gotten at least 14 carries, he's gained 50 yards in three of those four games. If Pittsburgh remains committed to Harris and the run game, we expect Harris to clear this rushing prop.

Tennessee Titans vs. Pittsburgh Steelers Week 9 Predictions

Diontae Johnson returned for the Steelers two weeks ago and immediately took over top wide receiver duties. Johnson was targeted 14 times last week against Jacksonville and caught eight passes for 85 yards, and also had 79 yards on five catches in the win over the Rams. With Johnson receiving the majority of targets, it takes away from George Pickens' opportunities in the passing game.

We like George Pickens Under 51.5 Receiving Yards (-114) at FanDuel. Last week Pickens had just one catch for 22 yards in the loss to Jacksonville. In the first game of the season when Johnson was active, Pickens had just 36 yards receiving. In two of three games this season with Johnson active, Pickens has not eclipsed 40 yards receiving.

Considering the workload Johnson receives when he's active, we're going to fade Pickens since his opportunities naturally diminish when Johnson is in the lineup. In two of three games this season, Pickens has not had productive outings, and we feel that could continue on Thursday.
