UFC 295 Odds & Prochazka vs. Pereira Prediction for UFC 295

One of the biggest UFC fight cards is upon us at the famous Madison Square Garden on Saturday night, and we’ve rounded up all the UFC odds from the best online betting sites and put together our UFC predictions.

Despite the card initially penciling in Jon Jones vs. Stipe Miocic for a legacy fight of the ages, the hype has kept going with the replacement fight of Tom Aspinall vs. Sergei Pavlovich for the UFC heavyweight interim title.

As a result, the co-main event has been moved to the headline spot, as Alex Pereira makes his second appearance at light heavyweight and fights for the title against the former champion, Jiri Prochazka - Pereira to win via KO/TKO is +125 at BetMGM, while Prochazka to do the same is +145 at FanDuel.

Let’s take a deeper look at our UFC predictions and UFC best bets for this weekend.

Alex Pereira Form Prior to UFC 295

What an astonishing career in the UFC it has been for Alex Pereira, and he constantly remains top of the UFC picks for a knockout.

In fact, there are only a handful of fighters in the company’s history who can truthfully say they hit harder than he does.

The Brazilian made his debut in the UFC back in 2021 and knocked out Andreas Michailidis with a stunning flying knee.

He then edged out a decision win over Bruno Silva before knocking out the reigning champion, Sean Strickland, to earn a Performance of the Night award.

Racking up a knockout victory over the current champion is one thing, but as he then went on to beat his old kickboxing nemesis, Israel Adesanya, for the middleweight title, Pereira only proved how incredible he is.

Down on the scorecards heading into the fifth round, Pereira needed a finish. An array of strikes - including his famous left hook - battered Adesanya, and the kickboxing legend stole the title and went 3-0 against Izzy in combat sports.

Adesanya would redeem himself with a first round knockout in the rematch, but after moving up to 205 lbs, Pereira beat former champion, Jan Blachowicz, albeit, with a controversial split decision.

For your UFC picks, you can get odds of +125 at BetMGM for Pereira to get his 27th KO/TKO in combat sports (7th in MMA).

Jiri Prochazka Form Prior to UFC 295

The legendary Jiri Prochazka already has a place in combat sports folklore after winning the inaugural RIZIN light heavyweight title, the GDC light heavyweight title and the UFC light heavyweight championship.

It puts him in a rare category of winning three major titles across three different organizations, and after years of talks with the UFC, Prochazka finally arrived with the world leader in MMA and has not disappointed.

In reality, he has only had three fights in the UFC, but his debut knockout over Volkan Oezdemir earned him a Performance of the Night bonus, while his ridiculous spinning elbow against Dominick Reyes handed him a variety of performance awards outside of the UFC.

Such devastating knockouts fast-tracked him towards the title, where he defeated the legendary Glover Texeira in a fight that won fight of the year with nine different media/awards outlets.

This also moved Prochazka onto a 13-fight win streak since his loss to Muhammed Lawal back in 2015, although that was his second fight of that night, as he beat Vadim Nemkov via TKO before the defeat.

In fact, the Czech superstar only lost the UFC title after vacating it due to a shoulder injury. He is now back, however, and looking to reclaim what is, in many ways, still his crown.

Prochazka vs Pereira UFC Best Bets

We’ve put together our UFC 295 predictions and our UFC picks for this weekend from the best online betting sites for UFC odds.

UFC Best Bet #1: Alex Pereira by KO/TKO (+125) at BetMGM

Just days after being inducted into the Glory Hall of Fame as the only simultaneous two-weight champion in history, Pereira has racked up a knockout highlight reel that most fighters can only dream of.

Whether it’s a devastating flying knee, an unstoppable right hand or his famous left hook - the Brazilian is truly one of the best strikers the UFC has ever seen. In fact, in most cases, the equation with Pereira is simple: if he hits you, you’re going down.

All it takes for someone of his caliber of power and striking is one shot. The likes of Adesanya and Strickland know that already in the UFC, while Pereira also racked up 21 KO/TKOs from his days as a kickboxer from a total of 33 wins.

It’s doubtful he’ll be able to go the full five rounds with someone like Prochazka and win the fight, simply due to his inferiority in wrestling and jiu-jitsu. But, on the feet, there is only one winner.

⭐ UFC Picks: Alex Pereira by KO/TKO (+125) at BetMGM

UFC Best Bet #2: Jiri Prochazka by KO/TKO (+145) at FanDuel

Sticking with the UFC picks and UFC odds for a knockout, we have to touch on the idea that Prochazka could do the exact same thing.

Although he doesn’t possess the insane power of his opponent this Saturday, the Czech is arguably more technical and tougher to work out from a stylistic standpoint.

Prochazka involves kicks and elbows way more than Pereira does, and his spinning elbow KO of Reyes is no doubt one of the best of its kind we’ve ever seen.

Pereira has also been knocked out in the UFC now too, as Adesanya smacked him with a right hand in the first round not too long ago.

Prochazka is going to need to be wary and careful of the power, but his superiority in technicality could set up something special.

⭐ UFC 293 Picks: Jiri Prochazka by KO/TKO (+145) at FanDuel

UFC Best Bet #3: Jiri Prochazka by Submission (+950) at DraftKings

Although the UFC odds are quite high for this one and although many of the UFC predictions out there probably stick to a knockout, we have to analyze the way Prochazka won the title the first time around.

The former champion locked in a submission against one of the best-ever jiu-jitsu specialists in MMA history, Glover Teixeira. In fact, to put in perspective how crazy that finish was, Prochazka was +1600 to win via submission against the Brazilian champion.

He is now +950 to do so this Saturday, which mainly comes down to the fact Pereira is nowhere near the level of Teixeira on the ground.

Jiri Prochazka vs Alex Pereira Prediction & Final Thoughts

In truth, you can pick one of either Pereira or Prochazka to win via KO/TKO, as both of them hold equal weight in this fight.

One of them is arguably the hardest-hitting non-heavyweight of all time, while the other boasts of a style he’s all but crafted himself.

Regardless, we don’t see how the fight goes the distance. If it does, odds are at +370 with Caesars to do so. However, if we have to pick one to win by KO/TKO, we’re going for the former middleweight king, Pereira.
