WNBA Best Bets Today: Seattle Storm vs. Atlanta Dream

  • My best betUnder 163.5 (-110) at BetMGM

TotalsOver 163.5 (-110) Under 163.5 (-110)
Moneyline(+310)(-430)

Both the Atlanta Dream and Seattle Storm have had extended stretches of low-scoring contests. From July 7 to Aug. 18, the Dream had 15 of 16 games go under the posted total. It's the same for the Storm who had eight of 10 games go under from July to August. Both teams have scored higher-scoring games recently, but we are still going to look at the under here.

We like the under of 163.5 (-110) at BetMGM. In the two games these teams played this season, both games have gone under including a low-scoring 68-67 Dream win on Aug. 10, where the total was 163.5. The teams also went under in the first matchup, when the total was 167.5 and the game finished with an 85-75 Dream victory.

Dream unders have been profitable, but four of the last five Atlanta games have gone over. But when looking at those matchups, it's a bit misleading. One came against the Las Vegas Aces, who have the best offense in the league and another was due to overtime versus the Minnesota Lynx. Another over during that run came against the Phoenix Mercury, who have essentially mailed it in on the defensive end of the floor as Phoenix's season is essentially over after being eliminated from playoff contention.

We like the trend of unders to continue to hit between these two teams.

WNBA Best Prop No. 1: Ezi Magbegor Over 7.5 Rebounds (+110) at bet365

⭐  Ezi Magbegor Over 7.5 Rebounds (+110) at bet365

Both player props we are targeting have plus-money odds, and we like the value we are getting on them. First up is Seattle's Ezi Magbegor, who is averaging eight rebounds a game on the season.

We like  Magbegor over 7.5 Rebounds (+110) at bet365 against the Dream tonight. In the first two matchups against the Dream, Magbegor secured eight and 11 rebounds, which bodes well for taking this prop at plus money.

Magbegor has also been consistently clearing this prop in recent games. She has tallied eight or more rebounds in three of her last four games, including eight, 13 and 14 rebounds in those contests. Given her recent performance on the boards and history against the Dream, we like her to clear this prop.

Recommended Bet: Ezi Magbegor Over 7.5 Rebounds (+110) at bet365

WNBA Best Prop No. 2: Rhyne Howard Under 16.5 Points (+106) at FanDuel

⭐  Rhyne Howard Under 16.5 Points (+106) at FanDuel

Rhyne Howard is one of the streakier shooters in the WNBA, and her ability to create off the dribble means she will have ample opportunities to get her shots off. Her elite offensive skill set makes it scary to look at the under on her scoring prop, but that's where we are going to go for Wednesday's game against the Story.

We like Howard Under 16.5 Points (+106) at FanDuel. She's scored more than 17 points in just one of her last four games and is coming off a loss to the Lynx where she made just 5 of 27 shots. It's been a struggle from the field recently for Howard, who also had shooting performances of 5 for 15 and 4 for 16 to leave her 14 of 58 from the field in her last three games.

Howard has also struggled against the Storm and only cleared this prop once. She had 20 points in the last meeting against Seattle but shot just 6 of 20 to clear this number. In the other meeting, she had just 15 points and made only 5 of 15 attempts. Her recent form and history against Seattle points to the under on this prop.
