The Connecticut Sun is simply a bad matchup for the Seattle Storm. In both meetings this season, Connecticut simply overwhelmed the Storm with its size and dominance from Alyssa Thomas and DeWanna Bonner. During the first matchup, Connecticut won 85-79 with Thomas recording a triple-double with 13 points, 15 rebounds and 12 assists, while Bonner had 20 points. The Sun was set to cover until a miraculous backdoor cover from the Storm allowed Seattle to cover the eight-point spread with an 85-79 loss.

The second matchup was nowhere close to that. Connecticut led 57-24 at the half and eventually won 93-73. These two results have us leaning towards the Sun to cover -7.5 (-110) at FanDuel.

Seattle lacks the frontcourt size or perimeter defenders to bother Connecticut. The Sun made 32 of 69 shots in the first meeting and were even better later on, making 34 of 63 attempts in the blowout win.
