History of the Atlanta Falcons

The Baltimore Ravens are located in Maryland and compete in the NFL's AFC North division alongside the Pittsburgh Steelers, Cincinnati Bengals and Cleveland Browns. Established by Art Modell, the Ravens were formed in 1996 as part of an agreement with Cleveland Browns.

The Browns resumed in 1999, but Modell and the new expansion franchise of the Baltimore Ravens have seen great success.

The team is currently owned by the billionaire Steve Bisciotti, and the Ravens are one of the most valuable franchises in the world of sports at almost $3bn. Despite being in existence since only the mid nineties the Ravens have six division championships  in the AFC North, 2 conference championships in the AFC and and have won two Super Bowls in 2000 and 2012.

The Baltimore Ravens are therefore a regular fixture in the playoffs, and they are one of the only two teams undefeated in Super Bowl appearances with multiple wins, the other one being the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. They also boast a record-breaking defensive performance in the NFL in 2000 and have been renowned defensive strength throughout their history.
