The monthly report for December 2023, published by Eilers & Krejcik Gaming (EKG), a research and consulting firm, reveals that baccarat is one of the most popular table games in the Great Lakes State and across four other U.S. gaming markets. Blackjack has been the undisputed number one table game for months and still ranks high, with two games making it to the top 5 games in the last month of 2023. The EKG report for November also had Evolution Gaming and IGT contribute the same number of games in the top 25 list. And the big change for December, aside from blackjack losing its dominance to baccarat, is that internally developed games by operators are becoming more popular for table game lovers.
