We keep things going with some college football predictions today and our CFB picks for Illinois vs. Kansas. For this match, we take a close look at Kansas’ running back, Devin Neal.

In Neal's first game against Missouri State, he managed to put together 94 yards and hit one touchdown with 13 carries too. His efforts saw Kansas beat Missouri 48-17, and against Jacob Clark in the rushing yards, Neal beat him in every statistical aspect, including a fantastic 48-yard run from a Seth Keller kick for a touchdown in the first quarter.

Illinois only managed to beat Toledo 30-28 in the first match of the season, and after a weak defensive display amidst Neal’s great start to the season, our best college football bets lean towards him getting at least two touchdowns.

We’re finally here with our best NFL bets with the new season starting this week. 

This will be the first time since 2015 where the 49ers have traveled to Pittsburgh, but a lot has changed since Kyle Shanahan took over as head coach, and this match will no doubt be very different to that loss eight years ago.

For our NFL picks, we think the 49ers will get the job done here on Week 1, as they are coming into this one after a solid season where they reached the NFC championship, mainly due to Brock Purdy’s immediate impact as a quarterback. 

The quarterback made sure the Niners were competitive for most of the game in their loss to Philadelphia Eagles until Purdy went out and Philadelphia ran away with the win in the conference championship game.

Christian McCaffrey will get most of the benefits from Purdy's form as a running back, as he also scored a touchdown in that loss to the Eagles.

You can also consider some other NFL player props such as McCaffrey to get over 58.5 rushing yards at -115 with DraftKings, or over 33.5 receiving yards at -110 - he produced 84 rushing yards against the Eagles back in January.
