NHL Predictions Today: NHL Picks & NHL Odds for 11/09:

Thursday night is expected to feature more chaos as we have four top NHL Picks  this evening. Despite a volume of 11 games, this slate has some unique challenges. While Friday night calms down a bit, Saturday is quite the frantic day and night of hockey. Yes. Fortunately, some good NHL best bets are always ready to be wagered.

FanDuel, Caesars, DraftKings, and BetMGM are once more included in the best online betting sites for today. As we leave Atlantic City, hopefully, lady luck shines a little brighter as a proper sendoff. Anyway, it is time to come up with those Thursday NHL predictions .

NHL Picks: Vancouver vs. Ottawa Odds & NHL Predictions

⭐ Over 6.5 Goals (-135) at Caesars

The Vancouver Canucks and Ottawa Senators are two engaging NHL stories for different reasons. A bettor has to be intrigued by the two teams for plenty of reasons. For one, Vancouver can score goals. They scored ten versus San Jose and six against Edmonton on Tuesday. Ottawa waltzed into Toronto and scored six on Wednesday night. This game is a good recipe for goals.

Some more NHL Picks  have potential here compared to others on Thursday night. One of the bigger surprises is that Over is still dangling at 6.5 Goals. The thought process is that this total may still crawl upward to 7. Keep an eye out for that throughout the day. Most sportsbooks are offering the number around -135 to -140. Ottawa has now scored four or more goals in five straight games but again allowed three tallies last night.

Unfortunately for Ottawa, they need more wins in the early going. They are digging out of their usual slow start. Playing from behind does not suit the Senators well, either. Last year, they missed the playoffs because of October and November. The same thing may happen again once Tampa Bay gets healthy. Now, at what point does Vancouver start to cool off? Honestly, do they ever? Remember New Jersey last year? This is a little different, as Vancouver started the season off 9-2-1. With Vancouver averaging 4.5 goals per game, the total Over is one of our NHL hockey best bets on Thursday  night. That number stays steady at -135 on Caesars Sportsbook.

Again, the Vancouver Canucks hold a few more choices in the cards for Thursday night. Among player props, Quinn Hughes, Over 0.5 Powerplay points, is at +145, while Elias Pettersson is still at +110 via DraftKings.

⭐ Recommended Bet:  Over 6.5 Goals (-135) at Caesars

NHL Picks: New York Islanders vs. Boston Odds & NHL Predictions

No Goals In First Ten (EVEN) at DraftKings

The New York Islanders and Boston Bruins are second for our games this Thursday night. The problem with these two teams is that they usually feel each other out in terms of goal-scoring early in their contests. Go back about a decade or so, and it feels like, historically, the Under wins out way more than the Over between the two squads.

Anyway, there were a few free NHL picks with these two teams; any contest between Ilya Sorokin and the Boston defense is inevitable for one simple truth. Goals will be at a premium. The other question is, can New York muster enough of an offense on the road, or will they be battling uphill again on Thursday night?

Another way to look at this is the following. Both teams allow less than three goals per game. No one is surprised by that or the fact that the Islanders have trouble scoring.

New York vs. Boston predictions trend in many ways. Boston can either make New York look silly, or this game drags as a one-goal resolution. It makes us squeamish on the Puckline, but that No Goal In The First Ten looks good at EVEN. Yes, that is a surprise number.

No one would be surprised with the New York Islanders scoring Under 2.5 goals on Thursday night either. One may also see a David Pastrnak multiple-goal night. Wait for that Pastrnak number as close as one can to game time.

History tends to repeat itself with these two teams!

⭐ Recommended Bet: No Goals In First Ten (EVEN) at DraftKings

NHL Picks: Chicago vs. Tampa Bay Odds & NHL Predictions

⭐ Tampa Bay -1.5 Goals (-102) at FanDuel

Chicago and Tampa Bay could be more intriguing than one bargained for on Thursday night. There is a history between the two teams from a while back, as Chicago did usher in the eventual Tampa Bay Stanley Cup run (see 2015 Stanley Cup Final). The Lightning have also started a good deal better than expected. What are some Thursday night hockey predictions we can take advantage of?

Chief among our NHL Picks on Thursday night may include the Tampa Bay Puckline. Teams are covering at home against Chicago or even on the road. There have been several instances where the Blackhawks give up a late goal for a cover. See New Jersey recently as a benefactor. Also, the Lightning are 4-0-2 at home and can score goals in bunches still. Tampa is now averaging almost 3.9 goals per game after a slow start.

Some Tampa Bay player props were thought about, but wait on the Nikita Kucherov or Victor Hedman point totals to settle as far as a number. Expect them to shift before dinnertime. Tampa Bay will not make this easy, but connecting on the Puckline represents one of our NHL best bets by far this night.

⭐ Best NHL Bet: Tampa Bay -1.5 Goals (-102) at FanDuel

NHL Picks: Edmonton vs. San Jose Odds and NHL Predictions

⭐ Over 7 Goals (EVEN) at BetMGM

Edmonton and San Jos end Thursday night with a thud of sorts! Experts and media alike were stunned by what happened in the Oilers versus Canucks contest, where three goals were disallowed, and the team total of Over 7.5 goals still worked (6-2 Vancouver).

The Edmonton vs. San Jose predictions feel like more goals are there. Just roll with it Thursday night.

⭐ Best NHL Bet:  Over 7 Goals (EVEN) at BetMGM
