NHL Predictions Today: NHL Picks & NHL Odds for 11/13:

The Hockey Hall Of Fame induction ceremony is tonight, which makes for an even lighter schedule. Undaunted, we have four more NHL Picks this Monday night. Yes, there are only two games. Once more, Tuesday and Thursday have more games but fewer than usual. No matter the day this week, some NHL hockey bets are ripe for the picking.

These best online betting sites include DraftKings, BetMGM, Caesars, and FanDuel. One of the nice things about being at BetMGM Sportsbook all last week was gaining a different perspective on shifting lines and more. Now, the time is right to deal out some Monday NHL Hockey predictions.

NHL Picks: New York vs. Edmonton Odds & NHL Predictions

⭐ Over 6.5 Goals (+120) at DraftKings

The Edmonton Oilers and New York Islanders have struggled out of the gates early. A bettor tries to figure out an angle or two, and it is rough. Edmonton has struggled mightily all season, and New York cannot hold leads. The Islanders lost by three goals at home over the weekend and now go out to Edmonton. Pickings are slim on Monday night. No, there are no Hall Of Fame hockey props out there. Sorry.

Can we get one or two NHL Picks   from this game? Yes. One of the age-old arguments in betting circles is when an Over/Under is set to a whole number. Welcome to Betting Math 101. At this point, why not tease that game total up a half goal if one goes with the Over?

Now, the Edmonton Oilers dug themselves quite a hole by losing 10 of their first 13 games (3-9-1 overall). Their goaltenders have five “Really Bad Starts.” What is a RBS (for short)? Basically, it is a goaltending effort where the goaltender allows three or more goals with a save percentage of .850 or worse. Last Monday, we had the luxury of hammering Auston Matthews and William Nylander with shot and goal props. Instead, we opt for the Over first here. This is one of our NHL hockey best bets on Monday night. It is because that number comes in at +120 on DraftKings Sportsbook.

Now, the Moneyline scares us considerably. Edmonton, as a home favorite in the -175 to -190 range, is something to stay away from. New York is too volatile as a road underdog at this juncture. With both teams connecting on the Over (59% COGO - Connecting On Going Over), it may be slightly easier to stomach than an Islanders or Oilers win.

⭐ Recommended Bet:  Over 6.5 Goals (+120) at DraftKings

NHL Picks: Colorado vs. Seattle Odds & NHL Predictions

Colorado Puckline (+155) at BetMGM

Colorado and Seattle is the even later game in our games this Monday night. The problem with the Avalanche is what team are we going to get? Saturdays have not been kind to Colorado, for example. When even St. Louis scores eight times, that is a sign. Now, Seattle has been worse. Earlier in the season, the Kraken could not score goals. At 39 goals in 15 games, Seattle is still having their issues. Colorado, at times, is not much better (43 goals in 13 games).

Trying to create a few free NHL picks with these two teams proved to be quite arduous and yet fun. The saying goes, when you love what you do, that makes life and work a little easier. Colorado, from an analytical standpoint, is the better team here. Last year’s playoffs are still fresh in the minds of the Avalanche, too. That helps some as well.

The NHL weekend taught us a few tidbits and lessons. For one, Vancouver continued to roll with the Puckline and feels like this year’s New Jersey Devils. Their offense is much more dynamic, and they now have 66 goals in 15 games. Second, Colorado often bounces back from a dud at home with a resounding performance on the road.

Colorado vs. Seattle predictions can head a myriad of ways this night. Instead, the road less traveled takes us back to the Puckline one more time. The Avalanche have a goal differential of Even, which is not typical of this team. When Colorado gets going, look out! Seattle beat them 4-3 on November 9th, which will only add fuel to the fire.

Colorado does not want to get on too long of a losing streak here. This team wants to pile up points early, especially with Dallas playing well. Keeping up with the Stars gives the Avalanche a better chance of winning the division later. A win tonight on the Puckline is a good start towards that goal.

⭐ Recommended Bet: Colorado Puckline (+155) at BetMGM

NHL Picks: More New York vs. Edmonton Odds & NHL Predictions

⭐ Edmonton In Regulation (-115) at Caesars

New York and Edmonton could be one surreal contest on Monday night. Some Islanders players may be familiar with the new Edmonton Oilers coach. That’s right. Edmonton fired their coach over the weekend and replaced him with Hartford Wolf Pack coach Kris Knoblauch. Knoblauch coached the New York Rangers’ AHL affiliate. So, Knoblauch knows a little bit about what makes the Islanders tick. Okay, what are some other potential Monday night hockey predictions here?

One of the solid  NHL Picks on Monday night may involve Edmonton winning in regulation. It does not matter how many goals the margin of victory is. That number is currently -115 at Caesars and more attractive when compared to the -170 Moneyline.

Among our best bets, NHL player props were pondered but passed over. On a light night with a schedule that features fewer games this week, it is okay to pick one’s spots. Take the Oilers in regulation for a smaller price.

NHL Picks: More Colorado vs. Seattle Odds and NHL Predictions

⭐ Valeri Nichushkin Anytime Goal (+260) at FanDuel

Let us go back to Colorado and Seattle quickly one final time. Again, the attempt is to keep this simple.

The Colorado vs. Seattle predictions feature Valeri Nichushkin, who has two goals on 29 shots (6.9%). His 11.6% shooting percentage in Colorado indicates a goal may be on the horizon. Roll with the Nichushkin goal going out the door.
