For this Braves vs. Phillies prediction, we’ll be looking at the first game of this double-header. The Braves are sending veteran Charlie Morton to the hill against Phillies starter Taijuan Walker.
Morton is 14-11 on the year with a 3.32 ERA across 27 starts, while Walker has 15 wins to just five losses with an ERA north of 4.00 in 27 starts.
Morton has been excellent over his last five starts, allowing just three earned runs, while Walker has allowed 16 and four home runs, so we like Braves ML (-140) at BetMGM (-115).

Toronto Blue Jays vs. Texas Rangers MLB Predictions Today & Odds, 7:07 PM ET
⭐ Chris Bassitt Under 5.5 Strikeouts (-130) at FanDuel
At the time of this Blue Jays vs. Rangers prediction, Toronto is in contention for a Wild Card spot while the Rangers are just 0.5 games out. This series could be the difference in deciding an American League Wild Card team, so you can expect both teams to bring their A-game.
They’re starting Chris Bassitt for the Blue Jays, and we’re focusing on him here for some MLB player props.
Taking on the Rangers, Bassitt will face a lineup that strikes out 8.72 times per game but has a potent offense, scoring the third-most runs in the league at 5.45.
Bassitt has played better recently, allowing just one run over his last two back-to-back eight-inning appearances, but before that, he allowed ten runs in three starts. We like Bassitt Under 5.5 Strikeouts (-130) at FanDuel.
His strikeout line here is 5.5, and while the “over” gives us “+” value, the under seems like the safer bet. He’s exceeded 5.5 strikeouts in three of his last five starts, but the Rangers offense could spell Bassitt a bit earlier than he’d hoped.

Heading into this Twins vs. Rays prediction, the Twins will have their hands full with Tampa Bay ace Tyler Glasnow.

We mentioned how well Morton has pitched recently, and we think he will continue here. The Phillies do score 4.88 runs per game, but Morton’s recent outings included some solid offenses, such as the Los Angeles Dodger most recently.
The Phillies do strike out nearly nine times per game, and Morton has thrown double-digit strikeouts in two of his last five starts. Instead of his strikeout line, though, we’re focusing on his total outs. We like Morton Over 16.5 Outs (-130) at DraftKings.
His line is at 16.5, which would be just over five innings. Morton went just four innings in his last outing but went five or more in his previous four.
