There were plenty of salsas and sambas on display for the second episode of this year's "Dancing With The Stars,” as the show played host to Latin Night on Tuesday.

Actor Jamie Lynn Spears, younger sister of Britney Spears, was the second casualty of Season 32, after she landed in the bottom two alongside Adrian Peterson, while Jason Mraz and Xochitl Gomez topped the leaderboard with 24 points each.

Mraz Hits High Notes

Singer Mraz is the new +200 favorite to win this year's "Dancing With The Stars,” after his rumba impressed all three judges, Carrie Ann Inaba, Derek Hough and Bruno Tonioli.

Actor Gomez has moved into the joint-third favorite spot at +300, from +500, after she also impressed with her salsa, which left Tonioli “melting.”

Charity Lawson is sandwiched in between the pair at +250, after the “Bachelorette” star continued to do well.

She was one of the leading lights of Week 1, scoring 22 points out of 30, but was without her regular pro partner, Artem Chigvintsev, this week after he tested positive for COVID.

Ezra Sousa stepped in, but Lawson still put in an "elegant and clean" performance, according to Inaba, and picked up 21 points.

 Madix's 'Sexy' Samba

Madix is even in price with Gomez at +300 following a "sexy" samba, according to Tonioli, and the panelists awarded the “Vanderpump Rules” star 20 points.

Social media star Lele Pons remains +400 after another solid display, scoring 21 points for her Samba, and she is now just ahead of Alyson Hannigan in the futures betting.

The panelists pointed out actor Hannigan had some shoulder issues during her routine, but overall they loved her 19-point tango, and she is now +500 to win the contest.

Tyson Beckford is another positive market mover this week at +700, after he scored 18 points for his salsa.

Mira Sorvino also scored 18 points for her salsa, but the judges think she can push herself to do even better in future rounds.

Peterson Narrowly Avoids Exit

Peterson is no stranger to running off the field during his NFL career, and the star nearly exited "Dancing With The Stars" in the second week after a 15-point samba.

He is now +800 to win Season 32 following his near miss, but remains ahead of actor Barry Williams, who has drifted to +1000 following his 15-point cha cha.

Harry Jowsey (+1200) scored 15 points for his salsa, but Mauricio Umansky (+1400) was at the bottom of the leaderboard on 12 points after he missed an entire step during his salsa routine.

Next week, the stars will dance Motown-inspired routines.
