Xochitl Gomez continued to spook her fellow "Dancing With The Stars" competitors on Monster Night by putting in another impeccable performance, but Mauricio Umansky was spirited away from the competition.

Guest judge Niecy Nash joined regular panelists Carrie Ann Inaba, Derek Hough and Bruno Tonioli, meaning Tuesday night's scores were out of 40, rather than 30.

Gomez's Monster Performance

Episode 6 also saw the return of the Dance Marathon - which was called Dance Monster-thon for the purposes of Halloween - in which stars were given the chance to earn bonus points after their normal routines.

As well as scoring an impressive 37 points on Tuesday night, Gomez scored five bonus points - more than any other star in Episode 6 - to cement her lead in the futures betting at +200.

What is more impressive about Gomez's Dance Marathon score is she had to perform while injured, after she scraped her knee earlier in the night during her main routine, and had to be carried to the judges' panel by her pro partner Val Chmerkovskiy.

If Gomez can perform well even when injured it is going to be tough for the other celebrities, but Ariana Madix is on her heels.

She is the +250 second favorite to win the 32nd "DWTS" season after scoring 37 points for her Argentine Tango, which was "hot" according to Tonioli.

Mraz On The Drift

Former favorite Jason Mraz had an issue with his lift on Tuesday night, and he has now slipped to +300, from +250, in the market.

Charity Lawson has also drifted to +300, from +250, after Hough insisted her jive "lacked attack,” and Inaba recommended Lawson work on her legs being sharper.

Lele Pons remains in the top five in the futures betting at +400 following a 33-point Paso Doble, which received a mixed reaction from the panelists.

Inaba claimed Pons is sloppy at times, but Tonioli loved her Paso and said she is now "in business.”

She is still very much one of the contenders to win the season, with a bigger gap emerging between Pons and +800 chance Barry Williams, whose Viennese Waltz was praised by Inaba.

Jowsey And Hannigan Hanging On

Alyson Hannigan (+1000) and Harry Jowsey (+1200) remain at the bottom of the market after they finished in the bottom three alongside Umansky, who was eliminated.

Hannigan is no stranger to monsters, having starred in every episode of supernatural drama series "Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” and the star scored a respectable 29 out of 40 for her performance, despite some mistakes.

Jowsey has taken some criticism from viewers this season, but Nash advised him that not everyone will like him — but she does.

The star scored 28 points for his Argentine tango, and added a bonus point, but his place in the competition could be in danger next time out with the standard increasing each week.
