BetMGM Agrees to Content Partnership with Bill Burr, All Things Comedy

BetMGM Sportsbook is going outside the sports world to expand its presence.

The popular sportsbook and online casino announced an agreement with comedian Bill Burr and All Things Comedy for a content partnership.

How the Partnership Works

BetMGM’s sportsbook data and promotional offers will be integrated into the All Things Comedy podcast network, which includes “Anything Better” by Bill Burr and Paul Virzi, as well as Burr’s “Monday Morning Podcast” and YouTube channel.

“You gotta have some juice on the game,” Burr said in a media release. “Otherwise, what are we doing? Sitting outside eating hot dogs?”

Burr is a well-known voice in comedy who has achieved success in TV and film in addition to his stand-up routines. In September 2019, he released his sixth hour-long comedy special, “Bill Burr: Paper Tiger," nominated for a Grammy Award.

“Bill Burr has one of the funniest, most distinctive and outspoken voices in comedy,” Matt Prevost, BetMGM Chief Revenue Officer, said in a media release. “We look forward to seeing BetMGM content incorporated into his podcast and broader social channels.”


BetMGM Audio Partnerships

It’s not the first time BetMGM has reached out for other content partnership deals. In May, BetMGM announced a multi-year deal with Audacy, making BetMGM a sports betting partner across Audcay’s broadcast stations, including the Audacy and Bet QL apps and digital platforms.

The deal includes integrated content across Audacy’s broadcast sports stations, customer acquisition opportunities and talent endorsements across Audacy’s local and national sports betting content.

“Audacy is a leader in sports radio, digital audio and now the direct-to-consumer betting analytics space," Prevost said in a media release at the time of the announcement. "In Audacy, we've found a long-term strategic partner that shares our goals, enabling us to further amplify BetMGM's reach to sports fans through the most trusted audio personalities and sports betting data and analytics platform in their respective markets today."
