The Milwaukee Bucks and Betway Sportsbook announced Monday that they have agreed to a partnership that will officially make Betway the Official Gaming Partner of the Bucks.

Betway Operates Worldwide

Betway, part of Super Group, launched in 2006 and operates in many markets worldwide.

Super Group is listed on the New York Stock Exchange and is licensed in more than 20 jurisdictions, and has positions in not only the Americas but Africa and Europe.

Super Group went public in a $4.75 billion deal with Sports Entertainment Acquisition Corp., a special purpose acquisition company (SPAC), in the spring of last year.

How the Betway and Bucks Partnership Works

With this partnership, Bucks fans will find Betway in-arena branding inside the Fiserv Forum. Additionally, Betway branding will be found on Bucks' “digital assets,” including the “Betway Game Rewind,” which is social media content that will highlight the previous game between the Bucks and their next opponent.

“We’re thrilled to partner with Betway and bring their world-class brand to Bucks fans,” Bucks Chief Business Development & Strategy Officer Matt Pazaras said in a media release. “Betway has been a fantastic partner to work with from the start and we look forward to growing our relationship with one of the premier online betting and gaming brands in the world.”

“Adding to our already impressive portfolio in the NBA, we’re very happy to welcome the Milwaukee Bucks to our family of partners,” Betway CEO Anthony Werkman said in the release. “The Bucks are having a great season in the NBA and we’re looking forward to sharing the thrill of their successes together.”

Betway Grows Its Reach

Betway has more than 60 brand partnerships with teams and leagues. It has partnerships with several NBA teams, including Cleveland Cavaliers, Chicago Bulls, Golden State Warriors, Brooklyn Nets, Los Angeles Clippers, Philadelphia 76ers and Dallas Mavericks.

Last spring, Betway agreed to a deal with the NHL, which will allowed it to have access to NHL-controlled media assets during the partnership, including digital, social and email marketing campaigns.
