Kambi Group, a sports betting supplier, has announced that it has agreed to a contract extension with Greenwood Gaming and Entertainment, the owner and operator of betPARX and Parx Casino.

The deal between the two was initially signed in November 2018.

What the Extension Means

With this extension, Kambi will continue providing Greenwood its “best-in-class technology and services,” including the Bet Builder product. These technologies will cover “multiple US states.”

Kambi-powered products are installed at Parx Casino in Pennsylvania, Gun Lake Casino in Michigan, Freehold Raceway in New Jersey, and the online sportsbook betPARX, which can be founded in three states.

There are plans for betPARX to expand to additional states in the future.

Parx Casino is a top casino property in Pennsylvania. More than a land-based gambling hall, Parx was the first casino in the state to offer Random Number Generator (RNG) online blackjack.

It later partnered with Evolution Gaming to offer online dealer games in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Kambi Recipient of Recent Awards

Kambi recently received the Sportsbook Platform Supplier of the Year at the EGR B2B Awards and is live in 17 states. The company continues to “establish itself as the sportsbook partner of choice to operators across North America.”

Kambi went live in Ontario when sports betting launched on April 4.

“We are delighted to agree this contract extension with our valued partner Greenwood Gaming,” Kristian Nylén, Kambi CEO and Co-Founder, said in a news release.

“Since we first partnered in 2018, it has been fantastic to watch betPARX grow from a local operator in the Philadelphia area to a nationally recognized brand, and I am pleased that Kambi will continue to support the operator on its journey as it expands further across the United States.”

Matthew Cullen, betPARX Senior Vice President of Interactive Gaming and Sports, said in the release: “betPARX is thrilled to continue working with Kambi and their award-winning technology as we grow our new, exciting brand nationally.”
