Monday Night Football NFL Player Props, Odds & NFL Picks for 09-25-2023

Last season, NFL teams knew the Cincinnati Bengals were pretty formidable on offense and especially defense. So far, through two weeks, the Bengals have been gouged for the most yards in the league. The betting public believes Puka Nacua is the new Cooper Kupp for now, and the Los Angeles Rams are targeting him a ton. Also, it does not hurt that the receiving prop has moved up to 68.5. That actually will not move many people off the prop. It is an extra three yards from Sunday as the number remains -115 on FanDuel, BetMGM, and DraftKings.

Through two weeks, Nacua has caught 25 balls for 266 yards. Here is a funny thing. The young receiver has been targeted several times in the red zone, and surprisingly, he has no touchdowns. One of the staples of a Kupp game felt like he somehow managed a touchdown all the time. For those wondering, an anytime touchdown from Nacua has shot out to +190 on DraftKings.

2022 saw Los Angeles Rams not learn the lessons of overworking Kupp. Thankfully, Nacua does not have to share targets with the Pro Bowl wide receiver yet. This allows him the chance to average double-digit targets a game and get opportunities to rack up yardage. Again, Cincinnati allows the most yardage through two weeks in the league.

Bluntly, the Cincinnati Bengals are hurting right now in more ways than one. If Joe Burrow does play (currently a game-time decision), he may be more apt to make mistakes than normal. It is safe to say the quarterback has not looked anything like himself after two weeks. That calf/leg injury is more than bothersome. This helps Los Angeles build a lead potentially and rely a hair more on the running game.

While the potential is solid here, Kyren Williams gets to go against a defense that allowed a total of 385 yards rushing in the first two weeks. Yes, Baltimore and Cleveland have more dynamic rushing attacks. However, Williams can catch balls out of the backfield, too. Matthew Stafford has utilized the short-passing game well. The Rams’ rusher could generate 30-50 yards receiving.
