Betsafe Sportsbook Launching in Colorado Sports Betting Market

Coloradoans have a new sportsbook at their disposal.

Betsson launched its mobile app sportsbook under the Betsafe brand on Monday.

In addition to the launch, Betsson also opened an office in downtown Denver where the primary purpose will be to serve the business-to-business strategy of the company in the United States.

Betsson gained access to Colorado through a partnership with Dostal Alley Casino.

"The launch of our proprietary sportsbook in the U.S. is an important milestone,” Pontus Lindwall, CEO and President of Betsson, said in a media release. “We are entering a new continent, expanding Betsson's global reach and further solidifying our B2B and B2C ambitions, thanks to many months of hard work by our product and technology teams to craft a product customized for the U.S. market."

Betsson was able to launch in Colorado after receiving the GLI 33 certification from Gaming Laboratories International. This certification is necessary in Colorado and other states in order to operate a sportsbook.

The Betsafe Sportsbook app is available for download on iOS and Android. According to the company, the app provides players with numerous sports to bet on, a variety of betting and payment options and competitive odds and engaging promotions for Colorado residents and visitors.

Colorado’s previous online handle record also came in October 2021 when $483.3 million bets were placed over the internet.
