Fubo Sportsbook and the Cleveland Cavaliers Agree to Partnership

The Cleveland Cavaliers of the NBA and Fubo Gaming (a subsidiary of fuboTV) announced Wednesday that Fubo Sportsbook is now an Official Mobile Sports Betting Partner of the Cavaliers.
Ohio passed legalized online sports betting late last year, but it’s not up and running yet, so this agreement is made “pending requisite regulatory approvals”.
What’s In The Deal
This deal comes months after the Cavaliers and Fubo Sportsbook agreed to a marketing partnership in October 2021 which promoted the Fubo Sportsbook brand across Cavs marketing material.
Right now, Fubo Sportsbook is available in Iowa and Arizona after launching in the fourth quarter of 2021.
This partnership will also see a land-based product come to fruition, including opening a 3,000 sq. ft. sports lounge at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse.
The intent of this facility is for fans to visit it on game day and receive “incentives and special bonus offers provided by Fubo Sportsbook.” This lounge will also be a destination to watch Cavaliers games, too.

“We look forward to the continued collaboration with Fubo as we work to establish a best-in-class sports betting marketplace to offer our fans in Cleveland and throughout the state of Ohio.”

This partnership provides Fubo instant access to a highly attractive customer base.” That way, the brand will be on par with the best Ohio online sportsbooks once they all go live.
Fubo Looks to Grow
As we await the start of online sports betting in Ohio, Fubo Sportsbook and the Cavaliers will continue to promote this partnership through “an integrated marketing campaign highlighted by co-branded high-impact broadcast-visible signage, a presence on team television and radio game programming, as well as other marketing assets.”
Fubo Gaming is expected to announce more states where Fubo Sportsbook will be available in the coming months.
Other than Ohio, Fubo Gaming now has marketing access agreements in Arizona, Indiana, Iowa, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Texas.
