You can now own a piece of the world’s best poker players each time they play for millions because of a new partnership between PokerStake and Triton.

The deal, announced on Feb. 20, makes PokerStake an official partner of the Triton Poker Series. As well as branding at live events, the deal allows PokerStake to give users an official way to buy and sell action for Triton’s high rollers.

WSOP bracelet winner and head of PokerStake, Josh Arieh, said the partnership will give poker players access to some of the biggest buy-in tournaments in the game, even if they can’t play.

“If you don’t have the bankroll to mix it up at high stakes, buying a slice of someone else’s action is the next best thing - everyone’s got the chance to be part of a winning team,” Arieh said in Monday’s press release.

Buy a Piece of Poker’s Top Pros

PokerStake launched in 2005 and today, it has over 200,000 members. It offers a secure way for users to buy and sell action for live and online poker tournaments. Those on the sell side list the event/s they’re playing, the amount of action they’re willing to sell, and the markup.

Prospective buyers can review a player’s stats, assess their offer, and, if they think it’s +EV, buy a piece. Every transaction occurs on the platform, so there’s always a clear record of who bought and sold action. This eliminates the risk of someone not paying up.

As well as recreational poker players selling action, PokerStake has become a place for pros to share the wealth. Among the pros who sell action on PokerStake are notable names such as Daniel Negreanu, Fedor Holz, Shaun Deeb, and Jeremy Ausmus.

Players can sell action for live tournaments, such as the World Series of Poker, WPT, and EPT events. You can also buy and sell action for online MTTs GGPoker, PokerStars, and other top-rated sites. Now, through its new partnership, PokerStake can offer official packages for Triton high rollers.

PokerStake Partnership Unlocks High Stakes Opportunities

For context, Triton Poker tournaments are aimed at pros and wealthy amateurs. Buy-ins start at $10,000 and climb as high as $1 million. This means many of the world’s top poker players ante up whenever a Triton event goes down.

Now, through PokerStake, you can buy exclusive packages for the biggest buy-in events in poker. To put this in perspective, someone who owned 1% of Aaron Zang when he played the $1 million Triton London Super High Roller would have got $167,758 after he won $16,775,820.

Of course, 1% of Zang’s action in that tournament would have cost $10,000. However, with PokerStake’s deal paving the way for exclusive offers, owning a piece of poker’s best might not be as expensive. If that’s the case, amateurs can now mix it up with poker’s elite, even if they’re not playing.

The next Triton Poker Super High Roller Series will run from March 1 to 13 at Hoiana Resort & Golf venue in Vietnam. This event marks the start of Triton’s new partnership. What’s more, it will be the first time players can officially buy and sell action for Triton events costing between $15,000 and $100,000.
