Connecticut Sees Another Jump in Online Casino Revenue for August

According to the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection, online gaming revenue in the state increased again in August.
Total gross gaming revenue for the month was $37.9 million, up from $35.6 million in July.
Market Went Live in 2021
The Connecticut online casino gaming and sports betting market fully launched in October 2021. There are just two online casinos: DraftKings and partner Foxwoods, and Mohegan Sun, operated by FanDuel.
Players can access a diverse range of slots, table games, and live dealer games in the state.
DraftKings And Partner Foxwoods Lead the Charge
DraftKings Casino saw the most significant increase: $20,632,490 in total gross online casino gaming revenue in August, up from $19,159,642 in July. Mohegan Sun reported $17,110,672 in August, a slight increase from $16,283,514 in July.
DraftKings offers players over 300 casino games, including exclusive games like DraftKings Rocket, DraftKings NHL Slapshot, DraftKings Bingo Blackjack, and Assassin Moon.
Eighteen percent of online casino revenue is returned to the state, amounting to $3,713,848 million for DraftKings and $3,079,921 million for FanDuel, in the case of August.
Total wagers for the month were $1.23 billion.
