Underdog Predict Review 2026 - Sign Up with Promo Code GDC

When digging into the Predict side of the app, it’s clear the Underdog team wanted to bridge the gap between DFS sites and real financial trading. Underdog Predict is integrated right into the existing fantasy app, so you don't have to download anything new or manage a separate login.

While it might be a bit simplistic for high-frequency traders coming from prediction market operators like OG.com, it’s the most approachable prediction market we’ve tested so far for the average sports fan.

Pros
  • "Combo" entries pairing contracts with fantasy picks
  • Zero banking fees for any deposits or withdrawals
  • Early cash-out available via the "Track" tab
  • Clean app UI with excellent store ratings
  • Flat per-trade fee
Cons
  • No limit orders; trades must execute at live market price
  • No PayPal or Venmo for initial Predict-specific deposits
  • $0.02 fee can be pricey for high-volume traders

Who is Underdog Predict?

If you’ve spent any time on the Underdog app for fantasy drafts or playing Pick’Em parlays, you may have noticed a tab called "Team Picks." This section is powered by Underdog Predict, a prediction-market product launched in September 2025 that lets users trade event contracts rather than just play against the house.

The vibe here is very different from a traditional sportsbook; instead of fixed odds, you’re buying and selling "Yes" or "No" contracts, with prices fluctuating between $0.01 and $0.99 based on what the rest of the market thinks will happen.

How are they regulated?

Underdog Predict operates through CFTC-regulated infrastructure and partner relationships, rather than entirely on its own exchange.

The platform officially went live in September 2025, and it initially launched to market through a partnership with Crypto.com | Derivatives North America (CDNA). Essentially, CDNA acts as the regulated exchange and clearing house that handles the actual listing and settlement of the contracts you are trading in the app.

In March 2026, the operator acquired Aristotle Exchange, which now offers event contracts on Underdog Predicts. Aristotle Exchange is a CFTC-regulated Designated Contract Market (DCM) and a Derivatives Clearing Organization (DRO).

Where Are They Available?

One of the best things about Underdog Predict's setup is that it can operate in states where traditional sports betting hasn't yet been legalized. You can currently access Underdog Predict in over 30 states, including major markets such as California, Texas, and Florida.

Just keep in mind that age requirements vary: while it is mostly 18+, you will need to be 19+ in Alabama and Nebraska, and 21+ in Virginia.

You do have to be physically in one of these states to trade, and they are very strict about geolocation, meaning that using a VPN as a workaround is not possible.

What Markets Do They Offer?

The platform is heavily focused on sports, covering the NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB, and college football and basketball, as well as soccer and tennis, with its "Team Picks" setup for game winners, spreads, and totals.

If you need a break from sports, there is a "Culture" tab that handles everything from politics and election results to the Oscars, Grammys, weather, and even Bitcoin price movements.

It is a solid variety, though they don’t have the same niche depth for things like "mention markets" that you might find on an exchange like Polymarket.

How Does It Work?

Trading here is built around binary "Yes/No" event contracts. Every contract is priced between $0.01 and $0.99, which essentially reflects the market's estimate of the probability of that event occurring.

For example, if you buy a "Yes" contract at $0.65, you are essentially agreeing with the market believing there is a 65% chance the event occurs; if you are right, the contract settles at $1.00, and if you are wrong, it goes to $0. The important thing to remember is that you are trading against other users, not a house trying to juice the odds in its favor.

Fees & Payment Methods

Underdog keeps the fee structure straightforward: a flat $0.02 fee per contract built into the entry, and that cost is usually baked into the entry price you see on the screen.

Payment methods for Predict deposits include debit card, Apple Pay, or Trustly bank transfer, with a $10 minimum. Your funds are split within the app with the money you put in for Predict separate from your DFS wallet, and you cannot use payment platforms like PayPal or Venmo for initial Predict deposits.

Withdrawals are free and usually take 48 to 72 hours. You can use PayPal or Venmo to cash out once you are ready.

Special Features: Combos

The standout feature has to be the Combo entries, where you can take a prediction contract and pair it with two to eight fantasy picks. Combo entry payouts depend on whether each side of the entry wins, loses, or rolls over into the fantasy legs.

Here’s how it works:

Prediction Market PickFantasy PicksPayout OutcomeNotes
WinWinMax WinningsThe prediction wins roll into the fantasy entry fee.
LossWinPartial WinningsYou receive 10% of the entry fee multiplied by the Fantasy Modifier.
WinLossNo WinningsThe fantasy legs must also win for a payout.
LossLossNo WinningsBoth legs lose, so there is no payout.

Combo entries require a minimum $5 entry fee, and Culture market picks are not allowed.

Underdog Predict also has a very useful "Track" tab that allows for early cash-outs, so if your team scores early and the contract price jumps, you can sell your position right then to lock in a profit.

In the app, you’ll see a flame icon that serves as a liquidity indicator, showing where heavy trading is happening. However, don’t expect to find a traditional order book or the ability to set limit orders, as they have opted for a simplified experience over advanced financial tools.

Promotions

Welcome Offer

Underdog's Keep Your Million lets eligible players build a $1,000,000 virtual bankroll into real bonus funds just by making picks. Every eligible customer gets credited with $1,000,000 in Milly Bucks and works through 20 straight 50/50 questions (like whether Patrick Mahomes throws over or under 275 passing yards), sliding to split their balance however they want between the two outcomes on each one. Get it right, and that stake carries into the next question; run out of money, and the game ends with nothing to show for it.

Survive all 20 and whatever's left converts into Bonus Entries, up to the full $1,000,000, though those entries still carry a turnover requirement before any winnings can be withdrawn.

New users have to make a first deposit before they can start, and existing users may need to as well, depending on the specific offer they're shown.

On top of that, new users get a separate 50% deposit match up to $1,000 in Bonus Funds, available in a narrower set of states than where the survival game itself runs.

Ongoing Offers

Once you’re signed up with Underdog, the referral program is your best bet for ongoing rewards; you just share your link, and when a friend deposits $10 and plays, you get a $10 bonus.

While traditional fantasy perks like "No Sweat" tokens don't usually apply to Predict, the Combo entry acts as a promotional bridge, since you can often use bonus funds for the fantasy leg of that mixed entry.

Underdog doesn’t have a tiered loyalty or "VIP" program yet, but the operators do stay active on Discord and X (Twitter) with various promotional announcements.

App & Site User Experience

The entire experience is housed within the main Underdog Sports app on iOS and Android, and it is remarkably polished. At the time of review, it had ratings of 4.8 on the App Store and 4.6 on Google Play, which are unusually high for this industry and suggest that the navigation is stable and intuitive.

Inside the app, Underdog Predict is split into Team Picks for sports and Culture Markets for non-sports events. Team Picks covers sports-based prediction markets, while Culture Markets covers non-sports events like awards, politics, and other headline-driven outcomes.

Everything is optimized for mobile, and switching between different leagues or jumping into the Predict lobby is fast.

If you run into trouble, there is an in-app chat that starts with an AI assistant named Fin. In our experience testing the app, we found that you can usually get to a human agent within a few minutes if the bot doesn't have the answer.

How Underdog Compares to Other Prediction Market Apps

Compared to other prediction market apps, Underdog Predict wins on design and ease of use. To our reviewers, it felt more modern and less like a boring financial terminal. It is also the only prediction market platform offering hybrid Combo entries, which is a huge draw if you like playing both sides of the fence.

That said, it falls behind Kalshi and Polymarket in overall market depth and professional features like limit orders.

Also, because they charge a flat $0.02 round-trip fee per contract, it can be more expensive for high-volume traders than commission-free models offered by other prediction market operators, such as Webull.

Safety & Responsibility Measures

  • Sign-Up & Account Verification

    Sign-Up & Account Verification

Getting started requires a standard Know Your Customer (KYC) process, during which you will need to provide your full name, address, and the last four digits of your Social Security number. This is mandatory for federal compliance and to ensure everyone trading is of legal age and in an eligible state.

On the back end, they partner with fraud-prevention specialists like Sift and keep all user money in segregated accounts, so your balance is never mixed with the company's operating cash.

  • Responsible Trading

    Responsible Trading

Underdog has strong built-in mechanisms that let you set your own limits directly in the app settings. Similar to responsible gambling tools at traditional US sportsbooks, you can cap your deposits, entry fees, and even the total number of entries you place on a daily or monthly basis. If you feel you need a break, they offer "cool-off" periods (up to 9 months) and self-exclusion (up to a lifetime).

Our Final Verdict on Underdog Predict

Underdog Predict is a great entry point for anyone new to prediction markets who doesn't want to deal with the learning curve of a professional exchange. It is a highly legitimate, CFTC-regulated platform that feels safe and operates within a familiar, high-quality app.

While serious pros might be frustrated by the lack of limit orders and higher fees, the seamless interface and unique Combo entries make it a fantastic choice for the casual sports fan who wants a dynamic way to trade their opinions.
