Pennsylvania Gambling Revenue for May in Top Form
It appears that Pennsylvania online casinos are truly on a roll, as the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) released revenue figures for May.
The numbers exceeded $200 million for the fourth month in a row. Figures for iGaming revenue throughout May reached $216.5 million, making up for April’s slight dip.
23.50% Increase from May Last Year
Online casinos in the Keystone State registered a 23.50% increase in overall revenue from internet gaming. Slots accounted for a substantial portion of this increase, rising 26.15% from just over $100 million in May 2023 to almost $127 million this year.
However, table games are also on the rise, as we’ve seen this month rake in almost $45 million, another huge leap from last year's figure of just under $38 million. The total tax revenue generated for the state throughout May is $76,063,660.
