NFL To Release 2025 Schedule May 14; Missouri Poised To Launch Legal Sports Betting

The 2025 NFL schedule will be released on May 14, and fans and bettors are eager to see how the upcoming 272 games impact their teams.
The 2025 NFL regular season begins Sept. 4 in Philadelphia, home of the Eagles, last season's Super Bowl winner. The Eagles' opponent for that game has not been named. The other teams will begin play that weekend.
The regular season concludes with Super Bowl LX on Feb. 8, 2026, at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California. That stadium is the home of the San Francisco 49ers.
According to Fox Sports, the 2025 NFL schedule release show is set for Wednesday, May 14, at 8 p.m. ET. The show will be televised on the NFL Network and streamed on NFL+.
With the 2025 draft complete, the league’s 32 teams are preparing for the preseason, beginning with the Hall of Fame Game on July 31 in Canton, Ohio. That game features a matchup between the Detroit Lions and the Los Angeles Chargers.
Missouri Sports Betting To Begin During NFL Season
Although fans from all teams are looking forward to the schedule release, in Missouri, home of the Kansas City Chiefs, the upcoming NFL season will give bettors a chance to place legal wagers for the first time on league games.
Sports betting was legalized in Missouri during last November’s election, but state regulators have not set the date for legal wagering to begin. Legal sports betting is expected to start in the fall, at some point after Sept. 1.
Across the country, sports betting is legal in most states.
