With Teira McCowan inside and other versatile Satou Sabbally on the wing along with Arike Ogunbowale, the Dream don't have the offensive options to keep up with Dallas. The Wings made 34 of 70 shot attempts (49%) compared to just 28 of 76 for the Dream (37%).
Based on Game 1, we're going to take Wings -6.5 (-110) at BetMGM. It doesn't bode well for Atlanta that they had a career game from Rhyne Howard, who went off for 36 points, and a 21-point outing from Alisha Gray and still lost by 12.
We expect the Wings to overwhelm Atlanta once again on offense and close out the series in Game 2. It's too much to ask of Howard and Gray to duplicate those performances and also get enough help from their teammates to keep it close.

More defensive attention could also be shaded away from Ogunbowale and towards Satou Sabbaly after Sabbaly went off for 32 points in Game 1, which should open up more scoring opportunities for Ogunbowale.
