Fanatics Markets Review 2026 | FanCash Rewards & Sports Combos

Reviewed by

Fanatics Markets brings prediction trading into the wider Fanatics ecosystem, combining sports-focused event contracts with FanCash rewards and Fanatics ONE benefits.

After testing the platform, we found its biggest strengths are its familiar sports-first interface, Combos feature, and rewards for trading activity. There are also markets covering politics, crypto, economics, and culture, although sports remain at the heart of the experience.

This Fanatics Markets review explains how its event contracts work, what you'll pay in fees, and whether its FanCash rewards set it apart from other prediction market apps.

Pros
  • Earn FanCash on trading activity
  • Sports Combos available
  • Offers sports, politics, crypto, economy & culture markets
  • Strong responsible trading controls
  • Part of the Fanatics ONE rewards ecosystem
  • Free ACH deposits and withdrawals
  • CFTC-registered and NFA member
Cons
  • Available in only 22 states
  • Non-ACH deposits can carry fees
  • Smaller non-sports selection than some prediction market specialists

Who is Fanatics Markets?

Fanatics Markets is the prediction-market arm of the broader Fanatics brand.
Rather than operating like a traditional sportsbook where you place a bet at odds determined by the operator, Fanatics Markets lets you trade event contracts tied to real-world outcomes.

Sports are clearly the main focus. You can trade contracts covering major US leagues and competitions alongside soccer, tennis, motorsports, golf, fighting, esports, and more. The platform also branches into non-sports topics, including politics, crypto, culture, and the economy.

The other major difference is integration with Fanatics ONE. Eligible users can earn FanCash and tier points through Markets, connecting their trading activity with the wider Fanatics rewards ecosystem.

How are They Regulated?

Fanatics Markets operates differently from a state-regulated sportsbook.

Morton St. Trading Investments LLC, doing business as Fanatics Markets, is registered with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) as a Futures Commission Merchant and is a member of the National Futures Association (NFA).

Event contracts available through Fanatics Markets are offered through Crypto.com | Derivatives North America, a federally regulated derivatives exchange.

This federal regulatory structure is why Fanatics Markets is treated as an event-contract trading platform rather than a conventional sportsbook.

You must be at least 21 years old, be a US citizen or legal resident with a US address, and be physically located in a location where Fanatics Markets currently permits trading.

Where are They Available?

As of September 2026, Fanatics Markets is available in 22 states: Alabama, Alaska, California, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Maine, Minnesota, Mississippi, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, and Utah.

It is also available in American Samoa, Guam, Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands.

That's a relatively unusual state map if you're accustomed to legal sportsbooks. Fanatics Markets is available in states such as California and Texas, where traditional online sports betting isn't currently offered statewide, while Fanatics Sportsbook operates in several states where Fanatics Markets isn't available.

You'll also need to remain physically within an eligible jurisdiction to place orders. Fanatics' terms state that this restriction even applies when trying to close an open position before expiration.

What Markets Do They Offer?

Sports are the standout category on Fanatics Markets. Finding upcoming games is straightforward, while the addition of Combos gives experienced sports fans a feature they'll immediately recognize.

Current sports coverage includes all the major leagues a sports fan might be interested in.

Depending on the sport, contracts can cover individual game winners, playoff or tournament outcomes, conference winners, and season-long championship markets.

The platform isn't restricted to sports. Fanatics also offers dedicated sections for crypto, politics, culture, and the economy.

That gives it significantly more variety than a sportsbook, although the non-sports menu currently doesn't feel as extensive as platforms built primarily around trading politics and current events.

How Does Fanatics Markets Work?

Fanatics Markets uses binary event contracts.

Most markets ask a question that can ultimately be resolved to Yes or No. Contracts are priced between $0.01 and $0.99, with the price providing an approximate indication of the probability currently implied by the market.

Suppose a contract asking whether a particular team will win is trading at $0.60.

Buying 10 Yes contracts would cost $6 before fees. If the event resolves Yes, each contract settles for $1, giving you $10. If it resolves No, those contracts settle at $0, and you lose the $6 spent on them plus applicable fees.

The price shouldn't be interpreted as a guarantee or official forecast. It's a market-derived estimate that can change as traders react to new information.

How to Trade

Trading is relatively straightforward once you understand how contract prices work:

  1. Find an event you want to trade.
  2. Check the Yes and No contract prices.
  3. Decide which side you think is priced incorrectly.
  4. Select the number of contracts.
  5. Review the total cost and potential payout.
  6. Confirm your order.
  7. Hold until settlement or sell your position beforehand.

One feature we particularly like is the ability to exit before an event settles.
If you buy a contract at $0.45 and its market price later rises to $0.70, you don't necessarily need to wait for the event to finish. You can attempt to sell the position and realize the difference.
However, an early exit depends on market conditions and sufficient opposing interest. Fanatics itself warns that a sell order isn't guaranteed to execute.

Fanatics Markets Combos

Fanatics Markets Combos

Combos are Fanatics Markets' answer to multi-selection sports betting.

They let you combine multiple sports outcomes into one position, increasing the potential payout while requiring all included outcomes to resolve appropriately for the Combo to pay out.

The feature makes the transition from a sportsbook to prediction markets considerably easier because the basic concept will be familiar to anyone who has previously placed parlays.

There's an important difference behind the scenes, though.

Combo prices are generated through a Request for Quote (RFQ) process. When you submit an order, the exchange requests executable quotes from liquidity providers rather than simply combining fixed sportsbook odds.

Fees & Payment Methods

Fanatics Markets charges trading fees based in part on the contract's price.
Current total trading fees range from $0.00034 to $0.02 per contract, with the highest fees generally applying to contracts trading close to $0.50. Contracts priced closer to either $0.01 or $0.99 generally carry lower per-contract fees.
There's one detail worth watching with small trades: Fanatics rounds the total order fee up to the next cent, meaning a single-contract transaction can still incur a $0.01 fee even when the calculated per-contract charge is lower.
Funding options include:

Fanatics doesn't charge for withdrawals from your Fanatics Wallet to supported payment methods.
Wire deposits require at least $1,000, while wire withdrawals aren't available below $10,000.
For most users, ACH therefore appears to be the most cost-efficient funding option.

Promotions

Welcome Offer

New users signing up through our offer can get a Trade Match of up to $150 in FanCash.
Rather than receiving withdrawable cash, qualifying users receive their promotional reward as FanCash, so don't treat the headline $150 as equivalent to a $150 cash bonus.

The exact amount you receive depends on your qualifying trading activity and the terms attached to the Trade Match promotion.

Only the first trade placed each calendar day counts, and only one Reward is credited per customer per day, so hitting bigger trade volume later in the same day doesn't increase that day's match. Missing a day means forfeiting that day's Reward; there is no rollover to other days.

For anyone already using Fanatics products, FanCash may be more useful than a conventional platform-specific credit because it integrates with the broader Fanatics ecosystem.

Welcome Offer Terms and Conditions:

  • New users signing up between September 28 and October 25, 2026 can claim the Trade Match up to $150 in FanCash offer. To qualify, you must complete registration and KYC during the promotional period.
  • Once your account is verified, your personal 14-day promotional window begins. This means you can still complete the offer after October 25 if you verify near the end of the promotion.
  • To earn FanCash, make at least one qualifying trade per day using your cash balance. Only your first eligible trade of each calendar day counts toward the promotion, and contracts priced above $0.90 aren't eligible.
  • Trades made with bonus or promotional funds don't qualify, nor do canceled, voided, or unfilled trades. Fanatics also excludes wash trading, self-matching, fraudulent activity, and other prohibited trading practices.
  • Any FanCash earned is credited within 72 hours after the qualifying trade settles. Make sure you use it quickly: FanCash earned through this offer expires seven days after it's credited.

FanCash Rewards

This is where Fanatics Markets most clearly separates itself from competing prediction markets.

Trading can earn FanCash, which forms part of the broader Fanatics ONE loyalty program.

At the time of our review, Fanatics Markets advertised the ability to earn FanCash on trades regardless of whether the position ultimately wins or loses. Eligible activity can also earn Fanatics ONE tier points.

That makes the loyalty system particularly interesting for existing Fanatics users because activity isn't isolated inside a standalone prediction-market rewards program.

Fanatics Markets FanCash Rewards

Fanatics ONE

Fanatics ONE connects different products within the Fanatics ecosystem.

Eligible Markets users can earn tier points through their trading activity, making Fanatics Markets a particularly natural fit for customers who already use other Fanatics products.

In our view, this ecosystem integration is more meaningful than adding another generic trading promotion. It gives frequent Fanatics customers a reason to keep their activity within the same account and rewards structure.

App & Site User Experience

Fanatics Markets has one considerable advantage in terms of usability: it doesn't feel like a traditional trading terminal.

Markets are grouped logically, prices are clearly displayed, and you don't need extensive financial-market knowledge to understand where to place a trade.

During testing, we found moving between individual sports and broader market categories straightforward. The platform also does a good job of displaying potential payouts before an order is confirmed.

The biggest adjustment is understanding that a contract price isn't simply another way of displaying American odds. You're entering a market position whose price can change, and you may be able to sell that position before settlement.

That distinction becomes much clearer after you've followed a few markets from opening through settlement.

The Fanatics Markets app is available on both iOS and Android. They are rated at 4.7/5 and 3.8/5 respectively. Compared to some other prediction markets platforms, this one permits trading on both desktop and mobile devices.

How Fanatics Markets Compares to Other Prediction Market Apps

Fanatics Markets takes a noticeably different approach from platforms such as Polymarket and Kalshi.

Its biggest advantage is its connection to the Fanatics sports and loyalty ecosystem. Sports take center stage, Combos make the platform familiar to sportsbook users, and FanCash gives existing Fanatics customers an additional incentive to use Markets.

Polymarket currently goes deeper into unusual current events and non-sports markets, while Fanatics feels more deliberately built around sports fans.

Fanatics' state availability is another major consideration. Its 22-state footprint means your choice may simply come down to which federally regulated prediction market platforms are accessible where you're physically located.

Safety & Responsibility Measures

Sign-Up & Account Verification

Because Fanatics Markets operates as a regulated financial market platform, signing up requires more identity verification than creating an ordinary entertainment account.

You should be prepared to provide information, including your:

  • Full legal name
  • US residential address
  • Date of birth
  • Social Security number
  • Phone number
  • Citizenship information

Fanatics may also request a driver's license, passport, selfie, or another government-issued identification document.

Its privacy documentation confirms that third-party verification providers, including Socure or Aristotle, depending on the state, may use a selfie, government-issued ID, and facial geometry to verify identity and prevent fraud.

In our initial testing, the onboarding process was straightforward, though verification time may vary depending on whether additional documentation is required.

To get started:

  1. Follow our Fanatics Markets link.
  2. Create your Fanatics ONE ID/account.
  3. Enter your personal information.
  4. Complete identity verification.
  5. Fund your Fanatics Wallet.
  6. Claim the Trade Match offer where applicable.
  7. Choose a market and start trading.

During step 4, you'll need to answer the following questions as part of the KYC process:

  • What is the principal occupation of your business?
  • Do you have any previous investment and futures trading experience?
  • What is your current estimated annual income?
  • What is your current estimated net worth?

Responsible Trading

Fanatics Markets performs considerably better here than prediction platforms that offer only basic risk warnings.

The platform provides deposit limits that can be set on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis. Lower limits take effect immediately, while increases or removals require a 48-hour wait.

You can also set a daily session time limit.

For longer breaks, Fanatics provides timeouts lasting from three to 365 days. These can't be reversed after activation, though users with open positions can manually close them during the timeout period.

Finally, self-exclusion locks the account for at least one year. Remaining funds are returned, and open positions are automatically closed.

Those controls are particularly welcome because prediction markets carry genuine financial risk. A contract can settle at $0, meaning you can lose the full amount paid for the position plus applicable fees.

Our Final Verdict on Fanatics Markets

Fanatics Markets has taken a sports-first approach to prediction trading, which makes it one of the easier prediction market apps to understand if you're a sports fan.

Combos, FanCash rewards, and Fanatics ONE integration are its biggest differentiators. Add sports coverage alongside politics, crypto, culture, and economic markets, and there's enough variety to move beyond game-winner contracts when you want to explore the wider prediction-market model.

The trade-offs are its limited availability in 22 states and the fact that some deposit methods may incur additional fees.
The Trade Match up to $150 in FanCash gives new users another reason to try the platform, particularly if they already use other Fanatics products.

Just remember that event contracts aren't conventional sportsbook bets or guaranteed investments. Prices change with market activity, liquidity matters when trying to exit early, and any contract you buy can ultimately settle at $0.
