Los Angeles Lakers vs. Golden State Warriors Prediction & Odds

NBA Best Bet Today #1: ⭐Lakers-Warriors Over 227 (-113) at FanDuel

These two teams played a high-scoring contest the first time they met, with the Warriors winning 125-103 on Saturday to push this game over the posted total. We will back that to happen again on Friday with the 227 total posted for Friday's matchup.

We are going with Lakers-Warriors Over 227 (-113) at FanDuel. The Lakers have already seen two of their three preseason games go over this preseason, and the first meeting highlighted how each team's play styles can lead to plenty of points when facing each other.

Los Angeles got up 100 shots, while the Warriors had 98 shots. To highlight how fast the pace was, the Atlanta Hawks led the league last season averaging 92 shots per game. Both the Lakers and Warriors flew over that number of shots. There were also many 3s taken in the game with the Lakers making 15 of 38 from beyond the arc and the Warriors converting on 17 pf 48 attempts from 3-point range.

Given the uptempo pace, the high number of 3s and the high-scoring game these two teams played the first time around, we like the over in this spot.

Betting Pick: Lakers-Warriors Over 227 (-113) at FanDuel

NBA Best Bet Today #2: ⭐Andrew Wiggins at least two 3-pointers (-125) at bet365

When it comes to finding 3-point props in preseason games, the odds can be pretty short for the top shooters in the NBA. For instance, Steph Curry is -1050 to make two 3s tonight, meaning you'd have to lay $1,050 to win $100 for Curry to make two 3s. Those odds are too steep to want to play. Therefore, we like to look at a player with much shorter odds in that market, and for Friday's matchups, we're going with Andrew Wiggins.

We like Andrew Wiggins at least two 3-pointers (-125) at bet365. Wiggins is a career 35% 3-point shooter and managed a decent number of attempts in the first preseason game this season, getting up four while making just one. Despite only make 25%, we believe if the shot volume for Wiggins remains the same, he should be able to reach this prop.

Golden State has played only one preseason game this season and that was six days ago, which should set up for the top Warriors players to see the same amount or more minutes. This could lead to more shot opportunities for Wiggins, who we saw take four 3s already in the first matchup against these two teams.

Betting Pick: Andrew Wiggins at least two 3-pointers (-125) at bet365

NBA Best Bet Today #3: ⭐D'Angelo Russell 20+ points (-115) at bet365

Our final prop for Friday's preseason NBA schedule concerns Lakers guard D'Angelo Russell. We're going to target a scoring prop for Russell against the Warriors.

We like D'Angelo Russell 20+ points (-115) at bet365. Russell has been solid in all three preseason games this season. In the first matchup against the Warriors, Russell had 16 points on 6 of 10 shooting in just 16 minutes. Russell put up a similar stat line against the Nets, scoring 14 points on 5 of 8 shooting in 16 minutes. But his best performance came on Wednesday against the Kings when Russell scored 21 points on 8 of 12 shooting in 21 minutes.

The Kings game was the first time Russell cracked over 20 minutes, and if that trend continues, we like him to score at least 20 points given the efficiency he has displayed this season.

Betting Pick: D'Angelo Russell 20+ points (-115) at bet365
