We expect that trend to continue and will take Liberty -5.5 (-110) at BetMGM. New York simply has the advantage in the backcourt with Courtney Vandersloot and Sabrina Ionescu, and Connecticut's ability to limit the frontcourt of Breanna Stewart and Jonquel Jones took a hit when Brionne Jones was lost for the season with an Achilles injury.
New York has been rolling as it seems the Liberty are playing to the lofty expectations placed on them when they landed Jones, Vandersloot and Stewart in the offseason. Considering they were a bad matchup for the Sun earlier in the season, we expect New York to cruise in this one.
