FanDuel & Evolution Gaming Announce US Live Casino Deal
Evolution Gaming Group, a live dealer and table games supplier, announced Wednesday that it will team with FanDuel to offer its Live Casino product to FanDuel casino customers in the U.S.
The agreement with the company based in Sweden enables FanDuel to expand its Live Casino offering in the U.S. market, according to a news release. Evolution Live Casino games will be added to FanDuel’s existing casino product offering, initially from Evolution’s Pennsylvania studio in Philadelphia.
“We’re really excited to offer our loyal customers more Live Casino games,” Jesse Chemtob, general manager of FanDuel Casino, said in the news release. “We see live casino as a key driver for continued online casino market growth in the U.S. and FanDuel will now have access to Evolution’s entire Live Casino portfolio.”
FanDuel can also complement its existing live games lineup in New Jersey with Evolution live casino titles, in addition to the existing offering from Ezugi, which became part of Evolution in January 2019, the release said.
“Late last year we signed a landmark deal with Flutter Entertainment brands Paddy Power and Betfair,” Johan Nordstrom, chief executive officer for Malta and chief commercial officer at Evolution, said in the release. “Now we are delighted to be working with another Flutter brand, FanDuel, in the fast-growing U.S. market.”
Founded in 2006, Evolution develops, produces, markets and licenses fully integrated B2B Live Casino solutions to over 300 gaming operators.
Other Evolution Deals
On Oct. 21, Rush Street Interactive, which operates BetRivers and PlaySugarHouse.com, announced it will launch a Live Dealer Casino in Pennsylvania powered by Evolution. Evolution’s live dealer product will make appear on Rush Street’s online casino sites.
On Oct. 16, Evolution announced an agreement to partner with Wynn Sports Interactive and offer live casino content and services for the its U.S. market. The partnership means Wynn it will offer Evolution’s live games initially in New Jersey.
Evolution also recently announced a deal with William Hill to supply live casino content and services across the U.S., including Michigan, plus Evolution has deals in Michigan with PointsBet and MGM. Michigan is in the process of setting online casino and online sports betting regulations with the target of launching in late fall.
FanDuel Has Been Active
FanDuel was one of four sportsbooks to go live in Tennessee on Sunday, the launch of the online-only sports market in that state.
On Oct. 29, Entercom Communications, a U.S. sports radio ownership group, and FanDuel announced a six-year partnership designating FanDuel as its official sportsbook partner. FanDuel will be the official sportsbook across Entercom sports broadcast stations and RADIO.COM, a digital audio platform.
Also on Oct. 29, the Illinois Gaming Board approved a sports betting license for FanDuel and Fairmount Park racetrack, giving FanDuel another entry in the growing Illinois sports betting market. FanDuel has been live in the market since Aug. 28, when it launched its sports betting app through a partnership with Boyd Gaming, owners of Par-A-Dice Casino in East Peoria.
FanDuel will open a retail sportsbook at Bally’s Casino in Atlantic City by spring 2021, once the casino’s sale to the Twin River Worldwide Holdings becomes final. A temporary sportsbook will open by the end of this year, according to a news release. It will be FanDuel’s second sportsbook in New Jersey; its flagship is at The Meadowlands Racetrack in East Rutherford.
