Jarry will be the Penguins’ first choice for the upcoming season. On the other side, we’ll see Devon Levi fighting for the backup spot, and the 21-year-old netminder allowed three goals on 29 shots in his previous outing (Buffalo overcame a three-goal deficit in a 4-3 win to Columbus).

Our NHL preseason predictions for Friday night will close down with the Pacific Division battle between the Seattle Kraken and Edmonton Oilers. They lock horns for the second time this week, as Edmonton defeated Seattle 4-1 last Monday.

The Kraken outshot the Oilers 33-14, but it wasn’t enough. Jack Campbell had a monster game and posted 32 saves. On the other side, Philipp Grubauer turned just ten of 13 shots aside, and the 31-year-old goalie is projected to get another chance on Friday night.

The Oilers will go with Stuart Skinner this time around. Skinner has allowed seven goals on 41 shots over his last two showings, and I’m looking for the Kraken to grab a few goals and try to get revenge.
