Bet365 Launches In Washington D.C.

Bet365 has launched its online sportsbook in Washington D.C., marking the operator's latest expansion move in North America, alongside a new multi-year partnership with Monumental Sports & Entertainment (MSE).
The launch gives D.C. bettors access to Bet365's sportsbook across more than 100 sports, including live and in-game betting. New customers in the district can claim a Bet $10, Get $50 in Bonus Bets offer to mark the launch.
As part of the MSE partnership, Bet365 becomes a Proud Partner of the Washington Capitals (NHL), Washington Wizards (NBA) and Washington Mystics (WNBA), giving it a year-round presence across three of the capital's professional franchises.
The Bet365 logo will appear across team broadcasts on the Monumental Sports Network, including virtual signage during Capitals games and commercials around Capitals, Wizards and Mystics coverage.
Home Of Winning Early
"Bringing Bet365 to our nation's capital expands our reach in the U.S. and establishes our presence in one of the country's most dynamic sports markets," said Trip Stoddard, Head of Development at Bet365.
"Our partnership with Monumental Sports & Entertainment gives us an exciting opportunity to introduce Bet365 to Capitals, Wizards and Mystics fans and build lasting connections across Washington, D.C."
The operator is positioning itself under its "Home of Winning Early" branding in the new market, offering features such as the Early Payout Offer, which settles qualifying NBA bets as winners once a team leads by 20 points, and qualifying WNBA bets once a team leads by 18 points, regardless of the final result.
The same early-settlement mechanic applies to qualifying NHL bets once a team takes a three-goal lead. A separate Early Bird Special offers a profit boost on Sunday NFL bets placed an hour before the day's first kickoff.
Brand Expansion Continues
Bet365's US footprint is now visible in 18 states. The operator has also built out an aggressive Canadian presence, becoming one of the first regulated brands to launch in Ontario in 2022 and repeating that early-mover approach in Alberta when that market opened earlier this year.
The D.C. launch follows a run of expansion news for Bet365 in 2026, including its Alberta launch alongside a CFL partnership when that Canadian market opened on July 13, and ANJ approval to enter France ahead of this year's World Cup.
Bet365 has also leaned into gamification around major sporting events this year, including a 'Sub On Play On' feature that paid out more than £30 million (roughly $38 million) in its first 11 days during the 2026 World Cup.
