Bengals at Cardinals Predictions & NFL Player Props for Sunday

It's been a struggle for both the Cincinnati Bengals and Arizona Cardinals this season with both teams sitting at 1-3. For Cincinnati, it's more surprising considering the Bengals are just two years off their Super Bowl run, while the Cardinals were expected to be undergoing a rebuild.

Cincinnati Bengals vs. Arizona Cardinals Week 5 NFL Picks

It's been a trying season for the Cincinnati Bengals offense. The offense has been held to just three points in two games this season, including last week's 27-3 loss to the Tennessee Titans. Cincinnati generated just 211 yards, was sacked three times and Joe Burrow threw an interception. Burrow completed just 20 of 30 passes for 165 yards as he and the rest of the Bengals lack the form from the Super Bowl run two seasons ago.

Burrow ranks last out of all 34 quarterbacks in passing yards per attempt at 4.8. The Bengals' pass game is nonexistent this season and remains in a place where we can't suggest a bet on Cincinnati as long as its offense continues to struggle. We'll go with the underdog Arizona Cardinals, who have a signature win at home already over the Dallas Cowboys.

Arizona is a half away from being 2-2 if it wasn't for an atrocious second half against the Giants when it was outscored 31-8 which led to the 31-28 loss. The Cardinals ended up falling 35-16 to the San Francisco 49ers last week, but Arizona was competitive cutting the deficit to 21-16 at one point. For all the early-season projections of the Cardinals likely to be the worst team in the league, they've remained competitive with their other two losses coming by three points to the Giants and four to the Commanders.

⭐ My Best Bet: Cardinals +3 (-110) at bet365

Cincinnati Bengals vs. Arizona Cardinals Week 5 NFL Picks

⭐ Joe Burrow Under 247.5 Passing Yards (-114) at FanDuel

Given Joe Burrow's struggles this season, we're going to continue to fade the Cincinnati quarterback until we see some production from him and the Bengals offense.

We like Joe Burrow Under 247.5 Passing Yards (-114) at FanDuel. Burrow has the lowest passing yards per attempt in the entire league at 4.8 yards. Burrow has thrown for over 247 yards just once this season during a Week 3 win over the Los Angeles Rams when he converted 26 of 49 passes for 259 yards. In Burrow's other three games, he threw for just 82, 222 and 165 yards.

Given how anemic the Bengals' passing offense has been, we are going to fade Burrow's passing yardage prop against the Cardinals.

⭐ Best Betting Pick: Joe Burrow Under 247.5 Passing Yards (-114) at FanDuel

⭐ James Conner Over 59.5 Rushing Yards (-114) at FanDuel

For our last prop on this game, we are going to target James Conner's rushing yards total. Conner has had a solid year for the Cardinals, gaining 318 yards rushing while averaging 5.1 yards per attempt.

We like James Conner Over 59.5 Rushing Yards (-114) at FanDuel. Conner has cleared this prop in three of four games this season with only the last matchup against the 49ers the only game he didn't gain at least 60 yards, which was due to Arizona falling behind and Conner only getting 11 carries and gaining 52 yards.

In Conner's other three games, he's gained 62 yards on 14 carries against Washington, 106 yards on 23 attempts versus the Giants and 98 yards on 14 tries against the Cowboys. The Bengals are coming off a week where they just surrendered 173 yards on 33 carries to the Titans, so we like this matchup for Conner.

⭐ Best Betting Pick: James Conner Over 59.5 Rushing Yards (-114) at FanDuel
