Golden Nugget Partners With Kansas Casino

Butler National Corporation has “entered into an agreement” with Golden Nugget Online Gaming.
Subject to licenses and regulatory approval, Butler, through its “wholly-owned subsidiary that manages Boot Hill Casino & Resort in Dodge City, Kansas,” could be poised to bring the Golden Nugget Online Sportsbook product to the state.

Butler National is a provider of “professional management services in the gaming industry” and a leader in “special mission aircraft modifications.”
Per Kansas sports betting law, Boot Hill Casino could contract three sports wagering platforms, pending regulation. Additionally, it could offer a retail sportsbook at the Dodge City location.
“We are working diligently with regulators to bring sports betting to Kansans by Sept. 1, 2022. We’re pleased with the regulatory efforts by the State of Kansas to implement sports wagering in Kansas,” Clark Stewart, Butler National president said in a statement.

When legal sports betting in Kansas launches, players can make wagers online from mobile devices and computers by accessing available sportsbooks and through the state lottery.
“Golden Nugget Online Gaming is a recognized and established brand within the gaming industry. We’re thrilled our customers may soon experience all the excitement that online sports betting has to offer with this popular platform,” Stewart said.
“In addition, we’re excited for DraftKings, as the parent company of Golden Nugget Online Gaming, to be able to bring Kansans a seamless, safe and premium sports betting experience through its Golden Nugget Online Gaming branded sportsbook, subject to receipt of requisite regulatory approvals.”
Should Golden Nugget come to Kansas, it’s a brand that’s proven to succeed in the industry, launching its first online casino in New Jersey in 2013 and its first online sportsbook in 2018 in the same state.
“We are looking forward to driving new tourism and revenue for the State of Kansas into Dodge City,” Stewart said. “Sports betting at Boot Hill Casino will give guests another exciting reason to visit Dodge City.”
