- ⭐ Chiefs -12.5 (-110) BetMGM
- ⭐ Under 47.5 total points (-110) at Caesars
- ⭐ Chiefs Win By 19-24 Points (+550) at DraftKings
The first two weeks of the NFL season are in the books, and the Chicago Bears, who earned the No. 1 overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft before shipping it to the Carolina Panthers, are 0-2 to start the year, dropping games to the Green Bay Packers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Chiefs are 1-1, rebounding from a brutal Week 1 loss to the Detroit Lions. They beat the Jacksonville Jaguars on the road in Week 2. They allowed the Jaguars offense to score just nine points, with Travis Kelce and Chris Jones rejoining the lineup.
The Bears are reeling as a franchise, and quarterback Justin Fields has played poorly this season. He’s completing 60.6% of his passes for 427 yards (6.5 yards per attempt; 5.3 average depth of target), two touchdowns, and three interceptions. He had 59 rushing yards in Week 1 but only three in Week 2.

Bears vs. Chiefs Betting Trends & NFL Week 3 Predictions
As mentioned, the Chiefs are massive home favorites against the Bears. They’re -12.5 with a -750 moneyline. The over/under is at 47.5. The Chiefs scored 20 points in Week 1 and 17 in Week 2, making this spread even more interesting. Below, we have our best bets for this matchup.
How to Watch Bears vs. Chiefs
- Date: Sunday, September 24
- Kickoff: 4:25 PM ET
- Location: Arrowhead Stadium
- Where to Watch: FOX
While the Chiefs certainly have some questions to answer on the offensive side of the ball after posting just 17 points against the Jacksonville Jaguars, they’re taking on a Bears team that looks totally overmatched in every facet of the sport. The Chiefs still have quarterback Patrick Mahomes, who completed 68.3% of his passes for 306 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception in Week 2.
The Bears offense looks totally inept, and their defense has allowed 38 points in Week 1 and 20 in Week 2 (the Buccaneers scored 27, but seven came from a pick-six).
Many are wondering if Fields is still the answer in Chicago, and now they head into one of the hardest places to play against the Chiefs.
This is a perfect matchup for them to get the offense firing again.
Bears vs. Chiefs Odds & NFL Best Picks
Bears vs. Chiefs Betting Trends:
- The Chiefs were 1-3 as a 12.5-point or larger favorite.
- The Bears were 5-11-1 ATS last season.
- Of the Bears, 17 games last season, 10 went “over” on the totals line.
The Chiefs' defense allowed just 14 points to a potent Lions offense in Week 1 and nine to the Jaguars in Week 2. The Jaguars still have Trevor Lawrence, so holding them to just nine points was impressive in Jones’ first game back as a defensive tackle.
The Bears are struggling to get their offense going, and their defense cannot stop anyone. We don’t anticipate they find a way to shut down Mahomes at home.
The Chiefs offense still has some work to do, and while they should improve mightily here compared to the first two weeks of the season, the Bears offense isn’t one that we should rely on to comfortably score enough points to help push this total over. They scored 20 in Week 1 and 17 in Week 2 against lesser competition. If they score beyond 14 in Arrowhead, that would be a moral victory for them.
Going for value here, we shouldn’t be surprised if the Chiefs win this one by three touchdowns. A 31-10 or 33-13 game isn’t out of the question whatsoever when you compare the Chiefs opportunity here for the offense to do some damage along with their defense holding down a Bears offense that’s already a mess through two weeks of the season.
