An established team with veterans spread across the roster, the Dallas Cowboys have kept the majority of its starters on the sideline this preseason. It's not worth it to risk injury to key guys in meaningless games, so it makes sense a team with experience such as Dallas would play it safe during the preseason.

But when it comes to picking a side in these games, the Cowboys have not been a profitable team to back. Dallas has lost and failed to cover in both matchups to the Jacksonville Jaguars and Seattle Seahawks, so we're going to fade Dallas one more time and take the Raiders -5 (-110) at BetMGM.

Las Vegas has had impressive moments this preseason, beating the San Francisco 49ers 34-7 in Week 1 of the preseason before following it up with a 34-17 win over the Los Angeles Rams in Week 2. Rookie Aidan O'Connell was efficient against the Rams, completing 11 of 18 passes for 163 yards and two touchdowns, and we'd expect to see more of him in the last preseason game as the Raiders will likely sit starting QB, Jimmy Garoppolo.

Of the four games these two teams have played in the preseason, three of them have gone over the total with both of the Raiders games hitting the over and Dallas having one over and another go under. Given how good Las Vegas' offense has been, putting up 34 points in both games, we also like the over here.

We're taking the Raiders vs. Cowboys: over 38.5 (-110) at FanDuel. As good as O'Connell was in the win over the Rams, he was even better against San Francisco, completing 15 of 18 passes for 141 yards and a touchdown. Look for O'Connell to get more snaps against Dallas and take advantage of a Cowboys preseason defense that has given up 50 points in two games.

Dallas surrendered 414 yards in the loss to the Jaguars, giving up 5.8 yards per play and managed to be even worse against Seattle, allowing 6.2 yards per play and 358 yards of offense. Look for the Raiders offense to have no issues scoring in this one, and for Dallas to chip in with points of its own to hit the over in this matchup.
