Michael Shulson to Open Two Restaurants at Ocean Casino Resort

Later this year, celebrity chef Michael Shulson will open two new dining restaurants at Ocean Casino Resort, one of the brands that also offers an NJ online casino.
According to the press release, the two “fine-casual concepts” will include “Pearl & Mary oyster bar” and “Samuel’s.”
“Having opened my first restaurant in Atlantic City more than 15 years ago, it’s apropos to be returning to the shore to work with Ocean, starting with these two incredible projects,” said Michael Schulson. “The team at this property is first class and I look forward to opening additional concepts with them in the future.”
Pearl & Mary will have an oyster bar and dishes “inspired by classic coastal favorites.” These include an “assorted raw bar, mixed crudos, and refreshing cocktails.”
As for Samuel’s, this is a “modern take” on the “all-day diner experience.” This is a restaurant that’ll be a “nod” to Shulson’s grandparents. The menu will be American-Jewish inspired, including fresh baked breads, pastries, salads, and sandwiches.
