BetMGM Signs Exclusive Casino Deal For The Traitors
BetMGM has signed an exclusive online casino rights partnership with All3Media International, the licensing arm of Banijay Entertainment, covering the reality competition series The Traitors. The deal gives BetMGM the rights to build slots, table games and other casino titles around the show across its regulated US markets.
The agreement secures intellectual property rights for The Traitors for slots, table games and non-traditional casino games. The first title, The Traitors Faithful Riches, launched at BetMGM Casino in New Jersey, Michigan, Pennsylvania and West Virginia, and at Borgata Online in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
Faithful Riches runs on 1,024 ways to win and includes a Traitor Feature that can trigger during the base game or free spins, awarding cash prizes with a random multiplier. Filling five bonus symbol spaces activates a Traitors Bonus with expanding collect symbols and trophy symbols.
Timed To The Show's Return
The launch coincided with the September 17 premiere of The Traitors: New Blood on television, tying the game's release directly to renewed interest in the franchise.
Oliver Bartlett, BetMGM's senior vice president of gaming, said television and film IP is now a core part of the operator's content strategy.
BetMGM has built a track record of licensing recognisable entertainment brands for its online casino, having previously secured rights to game shows including Family Feud and The Price Is Right.
More Titles Planned
Faithful Riches is described as the first of several planned games built around The Traitors, with BetMGM aiming to extend the brand across further gameplay formats over time.
The partnership gives the operator a growing library of titles tied to one of television's most talked-about competition formats, at a moment when licensed entertainment IP has become a competitive differentiator among US online casino operators.
