One Bet From Every Remaining NFL Game In Week 9

One Bet From Every Remaining NFL Game In Week 9

We had a pretty good run at this last week, coming very close to a clean sweep, and that is what we are hoping for this week.

We've used the very latest stats, streaks, and trends from our BetBuilderAI to highlight one bet from every game on the slate for Week 9, including a matchup in Madrid where the Cincinnati Bengals and Atlanta Falcons will meet.

Bengals-Falcons (Madrid): Mike Gesicki 1+ TD

Mike Gesicki has scored in five straight games, and the tight end is good value on NFL betting apps to make it six.

Cincinnati's offense is the fourth-best in our power rankings at 29.4 points per game, coming off a six-touchdown 43-36 overtime win vs. Tennessee. That is plenty of scoring to go around.

Atlanta needs far more from their defense. The Falcons were blanked 16-0 by Tampa Bay last week in a game badly affected by rain; their offense ranks 24th, and they have conceded a rushing touchdown in five straight games.

Lions-Dolphins: Jameson Williams 1+ TD

Jameson Williams has scored in three straight games, collecting five touchdowns along the way (two, two, and one).

Detroit's offense is ranked first in our power rankings at 29.0 points a game, and the Lions have just edged Minnesota 19-15. Williams is the big-play option in a unit that keeps producing.

The matchup against Miami's defense makes it that much better of a proposition. The Dolphins are 1-6, ranked 31st overall, and have conceded 24, 25, and 31 points in their last three games. Their offense managed only 19 in a 24-19 loss to New England last week, so they are unlikely to keep Detroit's scoring down by controlling the ball.

Browns-Saints: Andre Szmyt 6+ Kicking Points

Andre Szmyt has scored 6+ points in seven straight games, with a low of six and a high of 11.

The Browns have the 30th-ranked offense at 17.4 points a game, so the kicker carries a big share of the scoring. They won 13-10 and 27-24 in recent weeks, then lost 27-6 at Pittsburgh, and Szmyt still reached six.

New Orleans offers the other half of the case. The Saints are 2-5, ranked 29th on defense and concede 27.7 points a game, so Cleveland should find plenty of scoring opportunities.

Kicker markets are not up yet for this game, so check the price before you use it.

Giants-Eagles: Giants 20+ Points Scored

The Giants have scored 20+ points in four straight games, hitting 27 three times and 36 once. Their offense is averaging 23.3 points per game; they are ranked 14th, playing at a steady level, and they are coming off a bye.

The Eagles are 2-6 and at the bottom of our power rankings, and they have conceded 27, 38, and 25 points in their last three games. Their own offense managed only 10 in a 27-10 loss at Washington.

That leaky defense gives the Giants a clear route past 20.

Cowboys-Colts: Colts 20+ Points Scored

The Cowboys have conceded 20+ points in all eight games this season, the longest streak on the Week 9 slate. From Dallas's perspective, that is the cost of a split team: the offense is sixth in our rankings at 27.4 points per game, but the defense is 32nd, giving up 26.6 points and 385 yards per game.

Even a 38-21 win and a 33-30 overtime loss to Arizona each carried 20+ for the other side. Indianapolis is the weak link in the bet. The Colts are 2-6, ranked 30th, and have been held to 10 and 7 in their last two games, including a 42-7 defeat at Jacksonville.

Broncos-Panthers: Broncos 1+ Rushing TD

Denver have scored at least one rushing touchdown in four straight games (one, two, two and one). The 6-2 Broncos have found the end zone on the ground in each of their last four, most recently in a 28-24 win over Kansas City. Their offense is only 22nd in our rankings, so those rushing scores are carrying a lot of the load.

Meanwhile, the Panthers have conceded a rushing touchdown in four straight games (one, three, one, and one), and their defense has slipped to 30th after a 27-19 loss at Green Bay.

Jets-Chiefs: Braelon Allen 15+ Carries

Braelon Allen has carried the ball 15+ times in four straight games (24, 17, 17, and 21 last week). He has been the workhorse of a Jets offense that sits 23rd in our rankings; Allen still got 21 carries in a 38-33 loss to Las Vegas, so even a shootout did not take him out of the game plan.

The matchup against Kansas City is the risk. The Chiefs are 5-2, rank 11th in defense, and have lost back-to-back games, 20-3 and 28-24, at Denver last time out. If the Jets trail early, carries could dry up.

Rams-Commanders: Blake Corum 1+ TD

Blake Corum has scored in four straight games. The Rams are fourth in our power rankings, averaging 24.2 points per game, and coming off a 24-9 win over the Chargers. Corum has been part of that scoring in each of the last four weeks, and evens is a fair price for a four-game scorer.

Washington's side of the matchup is more mixed. The Commanders jumped nine places in our rankings after a 27-10 win over Philadelphia, but their defense is still only 22nd and concedes 26.0 points a game. Against a Rams offense ranked fifth, that leaves enough room for another Corum score.

Texans-Chargers: Texans 20+ Points Scored

The Chargers have conceded 20+ points in all seven games this season. For Los Angeles, it is a frustrating pattern: the defense is ranked 14th in our power rankings, but the offense is last at 14.1 points a game, and the Chargers are 0-7 after a 24-9 loss to the Rams.

A team that cannot score cannot protect its defense.

Houston has the other half of the streak. The Texans have scored 20+ in four straight games (21, 34, 26, and 30, most recent first), and they are coming off a 27-21 overtime loss in which they still reached 21 points.

Raiders-49ers: Christian McCaffrey 1+ TD

Christian McCaffrey has scored in six straight games, collecting eight touchdowns in that run. The 49ers are first in our power rankings at 6-1, averaging 28.1 points a game and coming off their bye. Rested, McCaffrey is the obvious route to the end zone.

The Las Vegas matchup makes it a good spot. The Raiders have the ninth-ranked offense at 27.6 points per game, but their defense is 31st and has allowed 20+ points in six straight games. They did outscore the Jets 38-33 last week, so they will keep a game close, which keeps the 49ers' scoring chances coming.

Packers-Patriots: Matthew Golden 6+ Receptions

Matthew Golden has made 6+ catches in four straight games (6, 6, 6, and 7 last week). From Green Bay's perspective, the offense is only 20th in our power rankings, but Golden has been a reliable target through it, with 7 catches in the win over Carolina. The Packers beat Carolina 27-19 last week and move to 5-3.

New England is the test. The Patriots are 5-3, ranked sixth overall, and their defense is eighth, allowing 20.2 points per game. They beat Miami 24-19 last week. Golden's streak is the longest of the Week 9 wide receivers at 6+ catches.

Cardinals-Seahawks: Jaxon Smith-Njigba Longest Reception Over 25.5 Yards

Seahawks QB Sam Darnold was ruled out Wednesday with a quad injury, handing the reins to backup Drew Lock, who stepped in for Darnold against the Cardinals once already this season. In Week 2, Lock didn't seem to miss a step with star WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba, who caught 3 touchdowns for 155 yards on 9 receptions, the longest of which went for 82 yards. Through Week 9, that 82-yarder holds the spot for the longest reception allowed by an NFL defense this season.

Arizona's defense does not look intimidating on paper: it ranks 26th in our rankings and allows 237.6 receiving yards per game (10th worst among NFL defenses).

In JSN's last five games, he's averaged 34.8 yards on his longest catch of the game. He hasn't had a performance so far this season where his longest reception was less than 26 yards.

Buccaneers-Bears: Bucky Irving 15+ Carries

Bucky Irving has carried the ball 15+ times in seven straight games, and the last four have gone 21, 19, 24, and 27. The Buccaneers are 3-5 with the third-best defense in our rankings, but only the 24th-ranked offense, and Irving's 27 carries in a 16-0 win over Atlanta show how much the team leans on him when it is in front.

Chicago will prove to be a significant hurdle. The Bears are 6-2, ranked second overall, and their defense is sixth, conceding 20.0 points a game. They beat Seattle 34-17 on Monday night.

Bills-Vikings: James Cook 1+ TD

James Cook has scored in six straight games, with seven touchdowns in that run. The Bills are 6-1 with the second-best offense in our rankings at 33.3 points a game, and they have just beaten Baltimore 36-10. An offense that scores that often gives its lead back plenty of chances.

Minnesota has the best defense in our rankings. The Vikings are also 6-1, rank first in defense, and concede just 13.3 points per game, though they did lose 19-15 at Detroit last week. Their offense is 28th at 20.0 points per game, so the Vikings will likely not score freely either.
