Wazdan Adds PlayStar Casino NJ to Growing Garden State Portfolio

Wazdan, a Malta-based casino games provider, is expanding its New Jersey online casino footprint after a recent partnership with PlayStar that they call “a pivotal collaboration.” With this partnership, Wazdan will integrate its titles via Light & Wonder (formerly Scientific Games), allowing players in the Garden State to enjoy more titles.

“Our growth in New Jersey has been extremely positive for us, and we’re delighted to be partnering with our latest operator in the state,” Andrzej Hyla, chief commercial officer at Wazdan, said in a statement. “Our engaging, immersive content has proven to be a hit with players and we’re looking forward to delivering even further great experiences to end users.”

Wazdan first launched in New Jersey in 2021. Now, with PlayStar Casino NJ, they’ll bring games like 9 Coins, Sun of Fortune, Sizzling Kingdom: Bison, Power of Gods: Hades, and more to the virtual shelves.

“We’re thrilled to partner with Wazdan, which has emerged as a leading provider of titles across New Jersey,” Dan Alexander, COO at PlayStar, said.

Seamless Integration and Other Partnerships

“Facilitated by Light & Wonder, it’s been a seamless integration period, and we’re confident our players will love Wazdan games.”

Besides PlayStar, Wazdan now has games at DraftKings and Rush Street Interactive. Wazdan also agreed to a deal with Tipico in November. “Our partnership with Light & Wonder has been a vital part of our growth in North America, and we’re confident that this will be another boost to all parties,” said Hyla.

We’ll wait to see where Wazdan lands next in New Jersey.
