WynnBET Mobile Sports Betting App is Live in New York

WynnBET Sportsbook New York is now live and taking bets.

WynnBET Announces Its Live in NY

The sports betting platform announced Friday it has launched in New York, with the WynnBET app now available for download to New Yorkers on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

"WynnBET beginning operations in New York is a monumental step in the growth of our company," Wynn Interactive President Ian Williams said in a media release. "New York represents a significant population of our Wynn Rewards membership, and we are confident in our ability to compete in this market by providing the first-class service and gaming experiences synonymous with the Wynn Resorts brand."

What NY Sports Bettors Will Get With WynnBET

New York bettors will gain access to Wynn Rewards, giving them a variety of real-life experiences and benefits that can be used at Wynn Resorts’ properties. Existing Wynn Rewards members can connect their accounts to WynnBET after finishing registration.

To celebrate its release in New York, WynnBET is offering a new player bonus to New Yorkers who sign up and register. Once players complete registration, they qualify for the bet $10, win $200 promotion. To redeem the offer, players must deposit and bet at least $10. Whether the bet is graded a win or loss, players will receive $200 in bonus bets.

New York is the eighth state WynnBET has launched its sportsbook. WynnBET is also available in Arizona, Colorado, Indiana, Michigan, New Jersey and Virginia, with plans to go live in Iowa and Louisiana in the future. Kansas is also an option, but before it can join other Kansas online sportsbooks, the brand will have to wait for the state to launch sports betting. WynnBET gained market access in New York because of a partnership with Oneida and St. Regis Mohawk compacted tribes as part of a consortium of operators.

Friday’s launch means WynnBET will be able to take bets on Super Bowl LVI, which takes place on Feb. 13. The Los Angeles Rams will take on the Cincinnati Bengals at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. Currently, the Rams are 4.5-point favorites at DraftKings New York Sportsbook.

Seven Operators Now Live in New York

WynnBET’s launch means there are now seven sports betting options for New Yorkers to choose from. Caesars Sportsbook, FanDuel Sportsbook, DraftKings Sportsbook and BetRivers Sportsbook were the first operators to go live when New York’s online sports betting officially went live on Jan. 8.

BetMGM was the next sportsbook to begin taking bets, launching on Jan. 17. PointsBet became the sixth operator to go live on Jan. 25 and took its first bet in New York at 10:09 p.m. EST after launching.

In a matter of weeks, New York’s sports betting market has flourished. From Jan. 8 to Jan. 23, the state has recorded a sports betting handle of $1.17 billion and has tallied $91.4 million in revenue and $46.6 million in sports betting taxes.

Eclipsing the $1 billion mark in handle over two weeks is impressive considering only New Jersey and Nevada have ever eclipsed the $1 billion mark in monthly sports betting handle, and New York just did it in two weeks.

New York still has two more sportsbooks awaiting clearance from the New York State Gaming Commission. Bally Bet and Resorts World are the last two operators who have yet to go live in New York.
