Gambling.com Overall Score: 7.1/10 (No. 8 among U.S. sportsbooks)

Our Verdict: Caesars Sportsbook is an excellent option for novice bettors and seasoned handicappers alike. We love the app's layout, functionality, and sportsbook promos. However, we’d like more betting options to compete with other top online outlets.

Quick Summary: Caesars Sportsbook at a Glance

In our experience, Caesars Sportsbook is one of the most trusted names in gambling, and you can feel safe as a new user in one of the many states where it’s live. We love Caesars’ betting markets and odds boosts; it has some of the most significant boosts in the U.S.

The Caesars Rewards program is one of the best in the business, but we wish the sportsbook had more: more promos, better app performance, more live betting options, and better odds margins.

Sports & Markets: 10/10

Caesars Sportsbook has you covered with a wide range of sports. From the usual suspects like football, basketball, baseball, hockey, and soccer to niche offerings like darts, cricket, and volleyball, our experts have placed wagers on just about any sport you can think of via Caesars.

The available betting markets are extensive, covering everything from moneylines, spreads, and totals to prop bets and futures. In addition to traditional bet types, Caesars Sportsbook provides diverse options like BTTS (both teams to score), First Goalscorer, and more. We’ve also found that putting together teasers and standard parlays is straightforward and intuitive.

Caesars received our experts’ highest grade for its sports and markets menu. Caesars has all the essentials well-covered, with a solid selection of markets for the Big 4 North American sports and international soccer.

Tom Ober
Tom Ober

Glancing at the search bar shows motorsports, boxing, MMA, volleyball, table tennis, darts, and more. And it's not just a couple of markets or leagues for those niche sports; you can often find several leagues, featuring money lines, spreads, totals, and even props and futures. I’m thoroughly impressed!

Promotions: 7.0/10

The Caesars Rewards program is incredibly lucrative for live experiences, so that's a massive perk of signing up with Caesars.

Caesars offers competitive promotions, but they are not as attractive as those at other top sites. Caesars Sportsbook offers daily payout boosts for pre-selected parlays and SGPs, often tied to a specific theme or team in the news. They also have some creative deals, like betting on all your home teams for a bonus bet when they're all playing on the same night.

As a mid-level player in stakes and frequency, I’ve redeemed my Caesars Rewards points for several bonus bets. I could use the bets immediately, and the redemption process was fast and easy. (I also got an extra bonus bet during my birthday month!)

The promos on Caesars aren't as frequent or varied as some of the other big books, but they are valuable when you get them. Every week, some players get 1-2 100% profit boosts. They may only be for $5 or $10, but they often have no restrictions or minimum odds. Caesars has the most significant boosts I've found on any major book.

Shannon Lane
Shannon Lane

I like the ongoing NFL promos; they're creative, fun, and different from what you see at other books.

Payments: 7.75/10

Caesars supports all the primary payment methods, including four major credit/debit cards and the main eWallets. When we tested the top betting platforms, Caesars Sportsbook was our fastest-rated sportsbook for debit withdrawals.

Caesars Sportsbook is one of our top picks for cash-out features. We appreciate its flexible cash-out options, allowing you to settle bets before the event ends to secure profits or minimize losses.

However, it doesn’t yet accept Apple Pay, and the withdrawal options are limited compared to other sites.

Tom Ober
Tom Ober

I've never had any issue depositing quickly and easily, and payments generally come through quickly. They're not as lightning quick as some other operators, but I've never had anything to complain about. I've only used PayPal, so I can't speak to the other methods.

Shannon Lane
Shannon Lane

When using the debit card withdrawal option, Caesars Sportsbook takes just over an hour to confirm your request and a day to transfer the funds into your account, making it one of the fastest sportsbook withdrawals you can find.

I initiated the withdrawal at 9:15 p.m. Seventy-seven minutes later, I received an email confirmation that Caesars’ internal teams had reviewed the transaction and would transfer it to my account. The funds were in my account the next day.

Customer Support: 5.75/10

This is an area where Caesars Sportsbook could improve. Caesars only offers live chat and email as customer support outlets. There’s no phone support, and live chat tends to respond slowly in our experience.

Peter Mooney
Peter Mooney

Several contact methods are available, including a phone number and live chat, but based on personal experience, it's challenging to reach a live rep when using live chat.

Tom Ober
Tom Ober

Without a phone contact and long wait times for live chat, customer service on Caesars can be frustrating, particularly if you're short on time or need to resolve an issue quickly. The few times I've hung in there until reaching a rep, they were always helpful (and polite, too). So, in the end, I've always had any trouble or issues resolved, and it took more patience than players might expect.

Reputation & User Feedback: 7.75/10

With optional multi-factor authentication, encrypted transactions, and state-of-the-art technology monitoring for suspicious activity, Caesars is committed to keeping your account, information, and money safe.

Shannon Lane
Shannon Lane

Caesars receives consistent ratings and reviews and is a highly well-known brand. I’ve found it most popular with users who want to take advantage of the Caesars Rewards program for hotel stays and dining perks.

Tom Ober
Tom Ober

Caesars is a big name in the sports betting industry, but I feel like they play second fiddle to DraftKings and FanDuel in the sportsbook world. They don't have the same over-the-top offer frequency, but Caesars is still excellent. Especially considering the brand recognition, I'm surprised to rate this somewhat in the middle.

Site UX: 7.0/10

The Caesars Sportsbook desktop experience is intuitive and straightforward. You can easily find sports you want to bet on, live events, and bet types.

The list of bet types within matchups can get cluttered and overwhelming, simply because there are so many options.

Peter Mooney
Peter Mooney

Some users tend not to like the white background, but it makes the layout very simple and clean compared to other sites.

Tom Ober
Tom Ober

Many players disagree with me, but I like the less-is-more, simple style of Caesars' layout, navigation, and design. The bright, mostly white theme is easy on the eyes and improves readability (at least in my mind). I think the nav and menus are clean and intuitive, and I've never gotten "lost" looking for a particular market, team, or feature.

Mobile Product: 6.5/10

The Caesars Sportsbook app is one of the cleanest, most well-designed sports betting apps available. It’s relatively fast, responsive, and easy to navigate.

However, users report loading delays, app crashes, and other bugs interfering with the user experience, so taking advantage of the Caesars app’s excellent features can be challenging.

Tom Ober
Tom Ober

I read a few reviews that point to lag, delays, or difficulty moving from section to section in the app, but I haven't experienced this myself. Every time I've logged in, it's been a smooth, seamless visit to take advantage of an offer or place a bet. Some text could be larger, and some buttons could be more prominent, but those are quibbles.

Peter Mooney
Peter Mooney

Some features are difficult to access on small screens, requiring multiple taps.

Responsible Gambling: 10/10

First and foremost, Caesars Sportsbook has a verification process to ensure that anyone is legally eligible to play.

In terms of responsible gambling, Caesars offers bettors several options to prevent playing impulsively or "on tilt." These include deposit limits, spending limits, daily time maximums, and self-determined cool-off periods. Customers may also voluntarily prevent themselves from placing bets for periods of twelve months or longer, and only be able to access their accounts after an application process.

Shannon Lane
Shannon Lane

The Responsible Gaming section on Caesars is robust and available whether you're logged in. It's also more well-written and features less awkward, stock language than similar sections on other platforms. The limit-setting tools, opt-out program, and commitment to responsible gambling are spelled out thoroughly and clearly, alongside the contact info for various problem gambling prevention organizations.

Tom Ober
Tom Ober

Opting out of marketing emails (something I’ve done) is straightforward, and it reduces the amount of advertising and offers you see.

Live Betting Features: 7.0/10

Caesars pioneered in-game betting features with Watch & Bet NFL live betting and FireBets microbetting. Live bets are available for various sports, with up-to-date scores and stats tracking at your fingertips.

We were impressed with their live streaming service, which allows you to watch games directly in the app, making live betting much more engaging. These features solidify Caesars Sportsbook as one of the top NFL betting sites in the U.S. Caesars Sportsbook pioneered NFL live streaming with its "Watch & Bet" addition in late 2022.

Peter Mooney
Peter Mooney

I’ve watched much of the action through their live-streaming feature. While Caesars has NFL live streaming, the other live streaming options aren't as varied, and the live betting options are limited. If I want to place an in-game wager, I'm likely looking for the bet I want at an alternate book.

Shannon Lane
Shannon Lane

In my experience, the app loaded quickly with minimal lag, which was crucial for live betting. The Caesars app’s stability and speed ensure you can place critical live bets immediately. The app supports various live betting options with real-time updates and stats.

Odds: 4.25/10

The odds selection at Caesars shows the most significant separation from BetMGM, which are otherwise similar in many other ways.

Odds are available for almost every game or event listed in Caesars Sportsbook, but Caesars generally offers some of the least competitive odds compared to major outlets.

Tom Ober
Tom Ober

The book is very middle-of-the-road regarding having competitive odds. There are times when line shoppers can find the best numbers on Caesars (particularly for some NHL games), but that's the exception, not the rule. That said, the lines aren't way off or unplayable; they're generally not the best value you can find with little research.

Richard Janvrin
Richard Janvrin

Caesars Sportsbook offers dozens of boosted odds bets daily. These are optional to bet on, of course, but these do provide better odds than competitors.

About our Experts: What We Looked at When Reviewing Caesars Sportsbook

Our experts put every sportsbook, including Caesars, through a rigorous 10-step process to ensure they meet our high standards before we make recommendations to our users. Every sportsbook we review has been licensed by the states where they operate.

We sign up, download the mobile app, deposit real money, redeem promos, analyze markets, place bets, test out customer service, and withdraw funds—all so that we can make the most informed recommendations for you, our users.

Shannon Lane: Function & Market Depth

Given Caesars' standing in the industry, I wanted to test how it works for the everyday bettor, including app responsiveness, withdrawal times, and live betting.

    Tom Ober: Value & Credibility

I relied on my first-hand experience to give honest feedback about Caesars Sportsbook as a new user. I wanted to find the places where Caesars delivers maximum value, including loyalty rewards and easy navigation.

Peter Mooney: User Experience & Accessibility

My top priorities when evaluating Caesars Sportsbook were a frictionless user experience, particularly in customer support and mobile betting. All the tools and features should be easy to find and use.

    Richard Janvrin: Boosted Odds

Since Caesars' odds offering lags behind some of the other big books, I looked deeper at where users of all experience levels can maximize their prices and found the value of its odds boosts.

Caesars Rewards Program

There's no sense in beating around the bush: we believe Caesars Sportsbook offers one of the best rewards programs

Caesars Entertainment encompasses more than just online wagering sites. It also has retail sportsbooks, casinos, luxury hotels, upscale dining options, and more. And Caesars Rewards covers all of it!

You can earn Rewards Points and Tier Credits (more on those terms later) for placing bets online or on-location and staying or dining at Caesars destinations. As soon as you sign up for an account, you can earn bonus bets, shopping discounts, prepaid vacation getaways, tickets to live entertainment, and more.

On top of that, the rewards program is also tied to partner companies, providing benefits like the Caesar Rewards Visa Card and special offers from 1-800-FLOWERS, Harry & David, Shari’s Berries, and more. In our experience, no other sportsbook has given me such a wide range of potential perks.

So let’s go into a bit more detail on Rewards Points and Tier Credits:

  • Rewards Points are what you can actually shop with.
  • Tier Credits determine what level of the program you’re in and, therefore, what rewards you have access to.

The more of each you accumulate, the better perks you can get. Check out the following table for a rundown of the different tiers and the perks that go with them:

TierBenefits
Gold: (0-4,999 Tier Credits)$5 Birthday Month Bonus Bet + Hotel Discounts + Entertainment Discounts
Platinum: (5,000+ Tier Credits)$10 Monthly Bonus Bet + $10 Birthday Month Bonus Bet + Complimentary 2-Night Hotel Stay + Entertainment Discounts + Cruise Discounts

Features We Love

  • Caesars Squares: Caesars Squares are similar to Super Bowl squares but with more control. You predict the final digit of each team’s score after a quarter, a half, and the whole NFL game.
  • FireBets: For select games and competitions, you can make almost second-by-second online sports bets on the next play, score, or possession, a feature known as "microbetting."
  • Parlay Builder: The Caesars Sportsbook app rolled out its new Parlay Builder in early 2024, making creating multi-game parlays on mobile easier than ever.

Final Verdict on Caesars Sportsbook

After reading this review, you shouldn't be surprised that we strongly recommend Caesars Sportsbook. The streamlined, smooth-functioning app features plenty of sports and betting options, and we’ve been consistently impressed with the frequency and value of the bonus offers. Caesars Rewards is also an industry-leading loyalty program.

The desktop and mobile versions of the book have light Ancient Rome themes wrapped around a fast, easy-to-navigate, and intuitive betting experience. Switching between sports, bet types, stats, and more is a breeze. The sportsbook also features a substantial section devoted to live bets, with real-time scores, stats, odds, and betting options a couple of taps or clicks away.

While we’d like to see more variety in the daily boosts and decreased customer service complaints, these are hardly deal-breakers for a polished, well-designed, great-performing betting choice. We’re happy to be bettors on Caesars Sportsbook, and we think you will be, too.
