BetRivers Sportsbook Review 2026: Well-Rounded Rewards for Sharp Bettors

Thanks to BetRivers' near-exclusive coverage of Jai-Alai, it offers competitive odds on sports that many other sports betting operators don't. Each game has hundreds of individual markets, giving you tons to explore. 

Its sports and market offerings are quite complete, with great depth in international basketball, hockey, and soccer markets, but it lacks niche sports offered by other books, such as snooker, eSports, cycling, and others.

One of our favorite aspects of BetRivers' markets is the "Hometowns" tab, which shows you all the local teams you can bet on within the next few days.

Promotions: 7.0/10

BetRivers offers a solid selection of regular sportsbook promos and one of the industry's top loyalty programs, iRush Rewards.

Where this operator goes beyond the norm is its daily odds boosts and profit boosts. BetRivers can also offer more value through "House Specials," which cover non-standard outcomes and events.

BetRivers' promotions are mostly focused on the same thing: same-game parlays. You can get insured bets via parlay insurance promotions by making multi-game or same-game parlays on selected events. With same-game insurance offered for almost every market, it's clear what this operator wants you to bet on. 

Payments: 8.0/10

BetRivers offers a wide range of deposit and withdrawal options. It effectively blends traditional payment methods such as credit cards and online banking with more modern options like Apple Pay, Venmo, and PayPal.

There’s something for everyone, but we would love to see withdrawal options expanded. Despite RushPay's expedited promise, user reviews consistently flag slow payouts and a frustrating withdrawal process that often requires back-and-forth with customer service.

Customer Support: 8.5/10

BetRivers gives users all the tools they need to find answers before contacting customer support. The FAQ is one of the best we've seen, containing written instructions and screenshots. The Help Center is comprehensive and searchable, broken into helpful sections that list common questions that users might have. 

We could get immediate answers to any questions we had through the support chat in the top navigation. You can also contact the customer support team 24/7 via live chat or phone.

You can email BetRivers, but it's buried on the terms-of-service page. Making this more prominent would showcase a more complete customer service experience.

Reputation & User Feedback: 7.5/10

BetRivers is licensed in multiple US states and boasts one of the industry's best loyalty programs. Its parent company, Rush Street Gaming, has been in the gaming space for a long time. 

While BetRivers has a strong brick-and-mortar presence with casinos in multiple states, its online product leaves a little to be desired. Reading reviews of the BetRivers app on the Apple App Store and Google Play highlights some users' frustrations. There are complaints about the withdrawal process, clunky navigation, and app speed.

Site UX: 7.25/10

The BetRivers website offers impressive features, though its site UX is not best-in-class. We found the repetitive menus on the top and left-hand sides confusing (though it’s nice that they're organized by a mix of sports and markets, with props and odds boosts pushed to the top). The bet slip interface is clunky, crowding the screen and making it hard to create more complex bets. 

While the site’s basic design feels dated, it is easy to navigate. Where available, all products, including casino and poker, are housed together. Links to responsible gambling, live chat, and the help center are prominently displayed. 

One particular design choice that we like is the use of drop-down menus. We love the pre-game and in-game stats, too. 

Mobile Product: 7.75/10

In the past, BetRivers has won the EGR Award for Mobile Operator of the Year. That's a huge positive, and it's thanks to the fundamentals the BetRivers mobile app offers, such as live streams, exclusive content, betting tips, and fast withdrawals. 

However, the app experience has opportunities for improvement. The app interface and the browser-based site do not align, resulting in a non-seamless experience. The load times are frustrating, and it would be nice to see more personalization when browsing your favorite sports. 

The comments on Google Play show that connectivity and stability issues have hurt the Android app rating. What's encouraging, though, is that developers have responded to criticisms, and user ratings have been steadily improving since 2023.

Responsible Gambling: 9.0/10

The plain responsible gambling page isn't very engaging, but it includes all the standard limit-setting tools, so it doesn’t need to be overly flashy.

That being said, the user experience could be more personalized.

Live Betting Features: 7.5/10

BetRivers offers live betting markets and one of the most comprehensive streaming services in the US. The app provides a live betting user interface that goes deep on pre-game and in-game statistics.

Once the games start, you can follow the game action with a live stat tracker with real-time updates. You can also watch select events live for free, though options are mostly limited to niche international markets.

BetRivers now also offers “Instant Betting,” its form of microbetting.

Odds: 8.5/10

BetRivers' odds are supplied by Kambi, a sportsbook technology company. They provide odds for over 20 sportsbooks, including competitors like DraftKings.

Yet, in our experience, BetRivers offers better odds than most competitors. BetRivers' House Specials gives oddsmakers more room to be creative and set generous odds.
