Sinner vs. Shelton Predictions, Odds & Betting Tips

⭐ Jannik Sinner to beat Ben Shelton 2-0 (-120) at FanDuel

After playing in the men's doubles, Jannick Sinner is back on the singles scene in Shanghai and heads into this one after a victory over Sebastian Baez. The Italian beat Baez 3-6, 6-3, 6-2 to book a fourth-round spot at this ATP Masters 1000 event, and he is expected to keep up his unbeaten run in this match.

Sinner is the current China Open champion, and his resilient win over Baez was his seventh consecutive victory. This saw him rack up 29 winners while only recording 11 unforced errors in the process.

Sinner also arrives in Shanghai fresh off that tournament win in the China Open, beating Carlos Alcarez 7-6, 6-1 in the semi-finals in what was arguably the best performance of his career. The Italian then went on to defeat Daniil Medvedev in the final in what was another excellent display.

As for Shelton, his run has been completely different, despite reaching the semi-finals of the US Open this time last month. The American only played in doubles matches during the Laver Cup and has made hard work of his two matches in the Shanghai Masters so far.

This saw the 21-year-old edge past Roman Safiullin by dropping the first set, as Shelton also defeated Jaume Munar 6-4, 6-4 in the round of 64.

With this in mind, our Shanghai Masters predictions tip up another easy win for Sinner.

Ruud vs Marozsan Predictions, Odds & Betting Tips

⭐ Casper Ruud to beat Fabian Marozsan 2-0 (-115) at DraftKings

Another huge game in the round of 16 over in China sees Casper Ruud aiming to make it into the last eight after a sensational win over Chris Eubanks.

The Norwegian racked up a 6-4, 6-2 set victory over the American in the round of 32 and now comes into this one having also beaten Yoshihito Nishioka 7-5, 6-0 in the round of 64.

Ultimately, sometimes, the better tennis player just wins. In fact, Fabian Marozsan’s last game was a qualifying match in the Astana Open, losing in the first round to Alibek Kachmazov.

Before that, he played in the US Open and lost in four sets to Adrian Mannarino and had to retire in the semi-finals of a challenger event earlier in August.

Simply put, he is both out of form and clearly not 100% fit, and Ruud should ease to a victory in this one.
