FanDuel Adds Rewards Club, AI Tools Ahead of NFL Season
FanDuel unveiled a new slate of sportsbook features on September 1, 2026, ahead of the NFL season, built around a points-based loyalty program, expanded injury protection, and AI-driven research tools.
The operator said the changes give FanDuel Sportsbook customers more control and choice over how they use the app this fall.
Karol Corcoran, Managing Director of Sports at FanDuel, said the launch is designed to make the NFL season the company's most rewarding yet.
"Our customers look forward to football season, and this year we're giving them more control of their experience to make it the most rewarding season ever," Corcoran said.
FanDuel Rewards Club
The centerpiece of the update is FanDuel Rewards Club, a new points-based monthly loyalty program that ties benefits to how much a customer wagers rather than issuing flat promotions to everyone.
Customers unlock levels as they bet, with each level offering an increasing set of benefits, including daily promotions, weekly opportunities to choose a reward and milestone-driven Challenges.
FanDuel is also adding Rewards Boxes, a feature that reveals a surprise reward token whenever a customer reaches a new level.
The company said the aim is to give bettors more say in which boosts and bonuses they receive.
Bet Protect+ Expands To The NFL
FanDuel's Bet Protect+ injury-protection product is moving from the NBA Playoffs and WNBA season to NFL player prop bets for the first time.
For 3% of a wager, customers can add full-game injury protection to a prop bet.
If the player leaves the game due to injury and does not return, FanDuel will refund straight bets in cash or remove the affected leg from a parlay and recalculate the payout.
New this season, customers will have the option to auto-opt in to Bet Protect+ rather than selecting it on each individual bet, a change FanDuel said follows strong customer engagement with the feature during the NBA Playoffs and WNBA season.
Game Intelligence Tools And AceAI
FanDuel is expanding the research tools on its player and team pages. Player pages will now show full game logs alongside a quick view of form over the last five games, while team pages will carry records, standings and recent results.
FanDuel said player prop trends, player favoriting, injury reports and league rankings are due to follow later in the season.
The company is also adding an "Ask AceAI" tab to player pages, giving customers direct access to AceAI, FanDuel's conversational AI assistant that can surface stats and available markets and add selections to a bet slip within the same screen.
