Fubo Sportsbook Live in New Jersey

Fubo Sportsbook went live Wednesday in New Jersey, offering bettors a “watch-and-wager” system instantly showing betting odds for the game on Fubo TV.

Under the Fubo Sportsbook model, bettors age 21 and older in New Jersey can wager on sporting events by downloading the smartphone app or going to the online platform.

How Fubo Watch-and-Wager Works

The watch-and-wager model works for bettors who have the Fubo Sportsbook app and are connected to Fubo TV.

Under this model, betting odds will pop up automatically on the mobile app for the live game on TV at that moment.

Without Fubo TV, bettors using the Fubo Sportsbook app can still wager on sporting events, but the mobile app won’t pop up odds for the game being televised then. Those odds can be located the same way they are found on any mobile app.

In addition to New Jersey, Fubo’s watch-and-wager system is up and running in Iowa and Arizona.

Fubo Gaming President Scott Butera said New Jersey has passionate sports fans who will enjoy this “one-of-a-kind immersive sports wagering and viewing experience in time for football season.”

Fubo Launches in Time for NFL Season

By launching Wednesday, the Fubo “ecosystem” will be available in New Jersey in time for the beginning of the NFL regular season.

On Thursday, the Buffalo Bills travel to Southern California to face the defending Super Bowl champion Los Angeles Rams (+2.5) in the season’s first game.

The two NFL teams that play home games at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, the New York Jets and New York Giants, begin their regular season play on Sunday.

The Jets, who have a multiyear partnership with Fubo, kick off their season at home in MetLife Stadium against the Baltimore Ravens (-7).

Last year, Fubo opened a 7,000-square-foot lounge at MetLife Stadium. The lounge features a full-service bar, live-action screens and views of the field from an outdoor patio.

The Giants are on the road in Nashville, facing the Tennessee Titans (-5.5).
