Mohegan Pennsylvania Announces $10 Million Facelift

It’s a new year and a new look for Mohegan Pennsylvania, as it completes a $10 million hotel ‘refresh’.

Works on updating the hotel’s 238 rooms and suites started in 2023, with the final renovations that see refurbishments taking place across the entire resort being the most significant. Mohegan is one of the Keystone State’s most popular entertainment destinations.

Award-Winning Daroff Design at Helm of Works

In a press statement on the hotel website, President & GM of Mohegan PA Tony Carlucci explained that the goal was to create a more contemporary look and feel across the entire complex. The redesign was entrusted to Daroff Design, an award-winning architectural firm that has already left its mark on other casino complexes within the US, including Harrah’s Atlantic City.

“We set out to create a fresher and more contemporary atmosphere with upgraded amenities and we’re thrilled with the results. Every detail was considered during this project, and we’re delighted with the new hotel experience that has already generated great feedback from guests,” Carlucci stated.

Following the works, the Spa Sapphire has now been reopened, and the Wise Crackers Comedy Club given a new location just steps away from the hotel lobby, making it more accessible to external guests.

Mohegan Pennsylvania Branded Online Casino to Launch in March

The refurbishment comes just ahead of the expected launch of the Mohegan Pennsylvania online casino, Mohegan Sun. The announcement was made during a presentation at the PGCB’s January meeting, which revealed a PA online casino soft launch scheduled for March 18 and a Momentum Rewards Scheme for April 18.
