A Trade Credit isn't cash. You can only use it to trade on Novig, and it can't be withdrawn or transferred.
If a trade made with the credit wins, the proceeds settle to your account as regular funds you can withdraw. If it doesn't, you get nothing back and you don't owe Novig anything.
How to Claim the Novig Trade Credit
- Sign up for Novig using the link below or log in to your existing account. Creating an account is free, but you'll need to verify your identity before you can trade.
- Opt in through the Novig app to get a notification when the pool opens. You can do this any time in the 48 hours before the drop.
- Open the Novig app or website at 6 p.m. ET on Monday, October 26.
- Claim your Trade Credit. The first 25,000 eligible members to claim receive one.
- Use it on a trade within 48 hours.
Don't wait until 6 p.m. to sign up: You need to be an approved member with an open trading account when you claim, so complete registration and ID verification in advance. Opting in for the reminder doesn't reserve a credit or put you ahead of anyone else. Everyone claims on the same terms.
The credit goes on its own, one per trade, and can't be mixed with your own money or another promo. It also has to be applied to an order that fills against an order already on Novig's order book, not one that sits and waits for a match.
If your trade costs less than $10, the leftover value is forfeited.
Novig Sports Equinox Promo: Key Restrictions
- One credit per person: If more than one Novig account is tied to your Social Security number, you can claim only once across all of them.
- First come, first served: Claims are filled in the order Novig receives them. Once 25,000 credits are gone, the drop is over.
- 48-hour shelf life: Unused credits expire 48 hours after they're issued.
- Standalone use only: You can't combine a credit with your own funds or another Novig promotion in the same trade, and only one credit can be applied to any single trade.
What is the Sports Equinox?
The Sports Equinox is a day when all four major North American pro leagues (the NFL, NBA, MLB, and NHL) play games on the same date. The first one was October 17, 1971. It usually falls in October, when the NBA and NHL seasons have just started, and the MLB playoffs are wrapping up.
Today, Oct. 26, is 2026's edition. The slate includes:
- World Series Game 3: Milwaukee Brewers at Tampa Bay Rays
- NFL Week 7 Monday Night Football: Dallas Cowboys at Philadelphia Eagles
- Nine NBA games: Wizards vs. Hornets, Timberwolves vs. Cavaliers, Bulls vs. Celtics, Mavericks vs. Heat, Pacers vs. Bucks, Suns vs. Thunder, Hawks vs. Rockets, Grizzlies vs. Jazz, Warriors vs. Nuggets
- Three NHL games: Kings vs. Rangers, Maple Leafs vs. Flames, Red Wings vs. Oilers
Trade Responsibly with Novig

Novig Promo Code FAQs
Do I need a Novig promo code to claim the $10 Trade Credit?
No. There's no code to enter. When the drop opens at 6 p.m. ET on Monday, October 26, open the Novig app or website and claim your credit. Claims are processed in the order Novig receives them, so having your account approved and ready beforehand matters.
Is the Novig Trade Credit real money?
A Trade Credit is worth $10, but it can only be used to trade on Novig, and you can't withdraw or transfer it. If you use it on a trade that wins, the proceeds settle as ordinary funds you can withdraw under Novig's standard procedures.
Do I have to deposit money to claim it?
No. Novig requires no minimum deposit, trading history, or account age. You do need to be an approved member with an open trading account to claim, which means completing sign-up and identity verification first. Creating an account is free.
Does opting in for the reminder guarantee me a credit?
No. The opt-in only sends you a notification when the drop opens. It doesn't reserve a credit, move you up the line, or give you early access. Every eligible member claims on the same terms, and only the first 25,000 claims receive a credit.
What happens if all 25,000 credits are claimed before I get in?
You won't receive one. Claims are fulfilled strictly in the order Novig's systems receive them. The drop ends as soon as all 25,000 credits are gone or at 6 p.m. ET on Tuesday, October 27, whichever comes first. Claims outside that window don't count.
How long do I have to use the credit?
Each Trade Credit expires 48 hours after it's issued, and anything unused is forfeited. Use it on its own, one credit per trade, on an order that fills against an existing order. If your trade costs less than $10, the leftover value doesn't carry over.
Refer to Cashback Terms & Conditions for full program terms.
