Steelers vs. Texans Odds, Predictions & NFL Player Props for Sunday:

For our Steelers vs. Texans prediction, we have a game that’ll feature J.J. Watt returning to be honored by his former team on the same day his brother, T.J., suits up for the Steelers. The Steelers are 2-1 this season, while the Texans are 1-2. Both teams have the same record against the spread.

Both teams are coming off wins in Week 3, which certainly factor into our NFL picks. The Texans scored more than 30 on the road against the Jaguars, while the Steelers beat the Las Vegas Raiders on the road. The most notable injury here is Texans left tackle Laremy Tunsil dealing with a leg injury. Below, we evaluated the best online betting sites like BetMGM, Caesars, FanDuel, and others to find the top bets.

Steelers vs. Texans Against The Spread Pick

Our first NFL Week 4 predictions for this game focuses on the home team, Texans, getting three points. Whenever you have a home team getting points, it helps make NFL ATS picks a bit easier.

The Steelers are 2-1 on the season, but their offense has looked atrocious under offensive coordinator Matt Canada. They looked better in Week 3, but from a larger sample size, this is an offense struggling with Kenny Pickett under center.

Meanwhile, the Texans and Stroud are throwing a ton. He’s third in the league in attempts, fourth in passing yards, and has yet to throw an interception.

Alex Highsmith and T.J. Watt coming off the edge for the Steelers against George Fant and 2022 sixth-round draft pick Austin Deculus is definitely a cause for concern, but we trust this Texans offense far more than the Steelers.

⭐ Best ATS Pick: Texans +3 (-115) at BetMGM

Steelers vs. Texans Moneyline Best Bet

Along with picking the Texans +3, we’re taking them outright as one of the best NFL moneyline bets this week.

This goes back to the Steelers offense. Sure, they should be able to beat up on this Texans defense, but with Canada calling the plays and Pickett’s ability so far this season, it’s hard to take them to win the game on the road. They hope that this defense completely neutralizes Stroud. Still, he’s been a fantastic passer at a high volume this season, so there’s no reason to think that should change here against a beatable secondary.

Getting “+” NFL Odds is always nice icing on the cake. We understand a Steelers win here with their defense, but their offense has more questions than answers.

⭐ Best ML Pick: Texans (+122) at Caesars

Steelers vs. Texans Over/Under Best Bet

The Steelers will look to get their running game going here, which still has Najee Harris as the primary ball carrier. This team would benefit far more with Jaylen Warren getting the bulk of the carries, but we’ll believe it when we see it.

Should this game turn into the Steelers holding the Texans down, we think Stroud and this offense will eventually respond and score some touchdowns to send this total over. Our NFL Week 4 predictions for this game depend greatly on Stroud’s passing prowess, which we’ve seen mightily through three weeks.

There aren’t many quarterbacks passing the ball better than Stroud, and considering his weapons, which are headlined by Nico Collins and Tank Dell, it’s extremely impressive.

For our NFL Over/Under Picks, take the over at just 41.5 here.

⭐ Best O/U Bet: Over 41.5 (-115) at FanDuel

Steelers vs. Texans Top Player Props

The last of our NFL picks for this game includes—you guessed it—Stroud.  Regarding NFL Week 4 player props, targeting his pass attempts is the way to go.

As mentioned, he’s third in the league in attempts and fourth in passing yards. He had 44 pass attempts in Week 1, 47 in Week 2, and just 30 in Week 3 as they handled the Jaguars all afternoon.

As home underdogs, we could see them playing from behind at points throughout the game, meaning Stroud will have to keep throwing the ball.

At just 33.5 attempts, we think Stroud could approach 40 here.

⭐ Top NFL Player Prop:  C.J. Stroud Over 33.5 Pass Attempts (+100) at DraftKings
