The American Gambling Awards celebrate the outstanding work of the companies, organizations, executives and influencers working to responsibly grow the regulated online American casino and sports betting markets.

Leading up to the awards ceremony in November, Gambling.com is profiling the finalists.

Here are the finalists for Online Sportsbook of the Year.

BetMGM Sportsbook

BetMGM’s online sportsbook is an iconic brand, which features entertainer Jamie Foxx in the company’s recent ads, reflecting the brand’s popularity and success.

Known for its industry-leading digital technology and evocative player experiences, BetMGM Sportsbook is a partnership between MGM and Entain Holdings, the international sports betting and gambling company.

BetMGM is the exclusive sports-betting division of MGM Resorts International, both online and in MGM casinos nationwide. It has one of the best, ease-of-use mobile apps, betting markets and withdrawal times in the market.

Caesars Sportsbook

Caesars Sportsbook was launched in August 2021. The Nevada-based industry titan offers a sports-betting environment that is world class, with a variety of betting options and a user-friendly layout.

Regular promotions and boosted odds further enrich the experience. Users have been attracted to the smooth navigation on Caesars Sportsbook, a testament to the high-quality technology standards on both the desktop and mobile app.

A globally recognized entertainment conglomerate with a long history in Nevada, the Caesars brand has expanded across the country, including to Louisiana, where even the New Orleans Saints’ home stadium is the Caesars Superdome.

DraftKings Sportsbook

The history of DraftKings dates to 2012, when the company’s three co-founders – Jason Robins, Matthew Kalish and Paul Liberman – wanted to take the same lessons about customer acquisition they learned as executives at VistaPrint and apply those to fantasy sports.

Soon, the company would be known for its online sportsbook, to complement its daily fantasy sports platform. Boston-based DraftKings Sportsbook has grown fast, offering a high-end platform that’s easy to use.

A highly regarded industry leader, DraftKings not only is one of the industry's most recognizable fantasy and sports-betting brands, but it also has broadened its media reach by acquiring the Las Vegas-based VSiN network.

FanDuel Sportsbook

What started as a brainstorming session by five co-founders in a Texas backyard in 2009, FanDuel’s roots are in the fantasy sports world.

Now headquartered in New York, FanDuel Sportsbook has over 12 million registered users in the U.S., is a market leader in several U.S. states and is the No. 1 sportsbook on a nationwide basis.

FanDuel is known for its great marketing campaigns, sportsbook promo codes and big odds boosts. The operator also offers a range of deposit options for sports betting and is quick to process withdrawals. FanDuel is a part of global betting giant Flutter Entertainment.

Tipico Sportsbook

Tipico is a global sports betting company that prioritizes engaging play experiences and trustworthy player protection across 30 different sports.

Founded in 2019, Tipico Sportsbook is headquartered in Hoboken, New Jersey. U.S. CEO Adrian Vella has said the company prioritizes “hyperlocality,” focusing on whatever market they are licensed and operating in, by“amplifying emotions” among local sports bettors and sports fans.

New Jersey was their beachhead, but Tipico has expanded into other regulated markets, including Colorado, Ohio and Iowa (with an online casino in New Jersey).
