BetMGM Launches NHL-Branded Casino Games

It was just announced Thursday that this operator is launching NHL-branded casino games. The games include Roulette, Baccarat, and Dream Catcher, a new, live “Money Wheel” game - all of which are available in all states where the brand is legal:

Partnership Strengthens Relationship

“The launch of these one-of-a-kind games further strengthens our relationship with the NHL,” Oliver Bartlett, the Director of Gaming, said in a news release. “As the season approaches, we’re thrilled that our players will have the ability to ‘drop the puck’ with BetMGM.”

The games were developed in partnership with Evolution,  a Swedish company founded in 2006. In the games, players will find “three-dimensional renderings and animations that deliver an immersive experience.”

Each game has a “go live” button, which will take you from the NHL-branded game to a live dealer version. The NHL logos are markings that are seen easily during the time you play.

How the Games Work

For Roulette, BetMGM says it features “realistic ball movements and full, interactive results and statistics,” while NHL Blackjack players “are placed at a table inside an arena skybox with the ability to move virtually between seats.”

Baccarat is similar to them, too, and Dream Catcher is a game where players bet on the number the wheel will stop at.

“We’re excited to broaden our relationship with BetMGM through the development of NHL-branded casino games, particularly when these new platforms allow us to deepen the connection NHL fans have to our sport in a more immersive and compelling way," Jason Jazayeri, NHL Vice President, Business Development, said in the release. "We look forward to collaborating with BetMGM on other fan-centric efforts in years to come.”

With this expansion of the casino platform, the brand reiterates that responsible gaming remains a “key focus,” stating that they are “proud to provide resources to help customers play responsibly including GameSense, an industry-leading program, developed and licensed to MGM Resorts by the British Columbia Lottery Corporation.”

You can access GameSense within the mobile or desktop platform. For the mobile platform, the app can be downloaded on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
