Foxwoods Raises The Stakes With Brand-New Poker Room In The Fox Tower

Foxwoods Resort Casino is going all in on poker.
On Sept. 9, the Mashantucket, Connecticut-based destination opened its brand-new Poker Room in The Fox Tower—a purpose-built space intended to reimagine the poker experience for veterans, casual players, and complete novices alike.
For more than three decades, Foxwoods has been a go-to hub for card sharks and poker enthusiasts, but this latest unveiling marks a bold new chapter.
Jason Guyot, President and CEO of Foxwoods Resort Casino, said: "From day one, Foxwoods has been about energy, evolution and putting our guests first.
"The new Poker Room is a statement of pace, comfort and competition, delivering an unrivaled experience for every player."
A Poker Room Like No Other
This is not just a redesign. Foxwoods has taken a whole new approach to what a poker venue could be.
The poker room now combines the luxury that many poker players desire, modern usability, and advanced technology, creating an environment that draws guests in from the moment they walk in the door.
One of the must-see upgrades was the installation of 37 high-definition televisions so that fans could always see a key hand or huge moment in sports.
A USB port at every seat, including USB-C fast charging, ensures that all devices stay powered throughout long sessions.

Adding Deckmate2 shufflers speeds up gameplay, while the Bravo Player Rating System lets guests easily log play and track rewards.
Convenience is also front and center. Automated sign-up kiosks streamline check-in, and nearby DraftKings Sportsbook kiosks allow players to wager on their favorite teams between hands.
For those long, intense sessions, table-side massage therapy is available to keep players loose and refreshed.
Grand Opening Celebration
Foxwoods pulled out all the stops for opening day, which started with a ceremonial opening in the morning, and the live dealing began soon after.
Throughout the day, players received free play. They also had the $25,000 Hot Seat Giveaway with 30-minute, $1,000 prizes, and a $5,000 prize awarded at the evening draw.

A Big Year For Foxwoods
The Poker Room launch is the latest in a series of high-profile additions at Foxwoods.
In May, the resort unveiled Connecticut’s first Great Wolf Lodge, followed by the opening of Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto’s Momosan restaurant in June.
In entertainment, Foxwoods will also feature in Season 24 of Gordon Ramsay’s Hell’s Kitchen, due to premiere this September.
The casino’s link to the show grew earlier this year when Season 23 winner Kyle Timpson was appointed executive chef of Hell’s Kitchen at Foxwoods.
With its new Poker Room, Foxwoods has once again raised the stakes, reinforcing its reputation as more than a casino, but a complete entertainment destination.
